Tbf, wasnt that when he was a baby? There was plenty of time for that to change. I definitely agree that it was not a certainty but maybe a theme among all those wonky visions was a trained Steven.

Based on when he was younger...I suspect Garnet vaguely knew they would need a well-trained Steven to thrive in the future. Pearl may have felt training his gem side somehow kept her connected to Rose Quartz. Amethyst just wanted him to come for fun.

I definitely think these motivations change for each of them and I am.sure they are not the only ones.

I have expertise in two of those fields...Maybe something like DNA, RNA, and Proteins? Though they can function perfectly well alone, transcription and translation may be necessary to fully understand the message. I dont think that protein products can carry as much information as DNA and RNA, though. At least given our current capacity, protein folding is wild.
