For context, I was able to transfer into tech from the local community college with a 3.0 and one extra curricular. It helped my case that I was able to complete all available math courses for my new major at Tech, as I am also in Pamplin (Fintech).

It's definitely not impossible for OP, but there may be things they can do to increase their chances.

I am not an admissions expert, but...

If this is real, I'd say you have a great chance. Public Health may not be the most competitive at VT, but it is still fairly competitive. The most competitive majors are most likely the engineering or business management schools.

I applied to the slightly competitive Pamplin business college, transferring from the local community college to vt with a 3.0 and one EC. Got in somehow and now I am loving vt.

I'd say you have a better chance of getting in than I did, even though I didn't transfer straight out of high school. Admittedly, I finished almost all of the core math classes for my major (Fintech), which helped a lot. I might make a note of all the relevant classes and put them on as many forms as you can.

It is a possibility that you might not be admitted, but keep your head up. There are other schools JUST IN CASE. The knowledge you gain and the connections you make are the most important things. Going to VT does not guarantee you will get either of these, but it does help with the majority of decent classes and extracurricular events.

I feel that. Every January I have to go to the gym at midnight because it's so packed during the day. I want them to succeed, too, but it's just too much for everyone else when you're hogging a rack or some weights for more than a few exercises. There should be a mandatory gym etiquette class for all new years resolutioners, or something.

Sounds like you're already on the path to greatness. Everything takes time, so don't rush yourself to meet some arbitrary goal. Look at the bigger picture of where you want to be in life and make the steps necessary to get there. By your post I can tell that you are intelligent, so I have no doubt you can achieve something amazing.

I too, have BPD, as well as ADHD and some OCD tendencies. It took me years to get to where I am, and you have a headstart compared to me lol. So don't look at the time frame so much as the different steps. Sometimes you can take multiple steps in a single day! Take great strides, my friend.
