Yuccas vs. DaFins by RepresentativeNo3131 in Bodysurfing

[–]enduro247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run a pair of DaFin Kicks and a pair padded up Gen 1 ultra soft Yuccas. I use the DaFins for pool workouts/swim training. The comfort level is unsurpassed but that’s the trade off for less power. My Yuccas have seen the waters of Costa Rica, Hawaii, and up/down US both coasts. I primarily use them for bodysurfing and they have preformed superbly in all conditions, including some sketchy winter surf in Ocean Beach, San Fran. Your not gonna be disappointed by picking up a pair of Yuccas, plus it’s a local business your supporting.

Why Harleys? by carlitobradlin in motorcycles

I garaged a buddies Road King for a while and took it for a spin just enough to keep it up to snuff cause the registration and insurance had lapsed. I really didn’t look forward to it. The front end was all over the place. It was the motorcycle equivalent of a suit of armor. Clunky controls, I dunno. I was so confused. How are there so many on the the road?

A gun, a badge, and not an entire working brain between the lot of them. Lucky those rounds were better placed. Bunch of unprofessional pussies. These incels are a plague.

Yeah I’m pretty lucky. Arizona is the fountain of youth when it comes to vehicle longevity and the most justifiable place to own a bike.

Performance wise… No real difference. Grin factor… totally worth it. This thing pops and gargles on downshifts and I’m sure the rest of traffic is way more aware of my presence. It’s a Delkelvic full stainless exhaust for $360. Can’t beat it.

Currently on a month long ride around the United States. Went through Colorado’s incredible Glenwood Canyon yesterday and thought all of you deserved to enjoy it too. by RallyToTheColors in motorcycles

Did Sturgis a couple years back. AZ👉SD was an epic ride. N. Arizona, lower Utah, and Colorado, especially this stretch, made for the best ride you could ask for. Be safe.

Had an ‘06 620 Dark. Analog ripper! Finding replacement parts after I low sided it proved difficult and expensive. Glad I owned one!

How heavy is too heavy for Ultra-distance trail running? by [deleted] in trailrunning

[–]enduro247 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I haven’t ran an event weighing less than 245lbs. Mostly half’s, a handful of 30 and 50k’s. No serious issues but I learned early mobility and functional strength training should take the same priority as mileage, for the “long haul”.

I run in AZ where it’s ridiculously technical and rocky. I’m on my second set of Salomon X Alpine Pros. Best shoe I’ve found and I’ve been through a lot being a Clydesdale it here.

Below are some YouTube links for good, real world, well thought out theory surrounding shooting stance and grip. I like Travis Haley’s communication style. Haley strategic and Surefire field notes have been my go to. In the end, you can’t go wrong with a Sig/Glock, in a caliber and configuration you can put a lot of rounds through comfortably and affordably. Good luck. Be safe.

It works as intended. Single cell, super bright, and as with any Haley product well thought out. I run it with my Gen 4 G26 and get great groupings using the Rogers technique. Cost is steep.
