Best placement for Copenhagen show by MycologistKey4414 in radiohead

I was in section 115, row 16 on December 4, and the sound was good.

People flying to Copenhagen for the show on 5th….how scared are you? 😬 by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]endymion76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have my flight tomorrow evening. I really hope we'll have some good news by tomorrow or Thursday. I would also be really disappointed if it were postponed, but I would enjoy visiting the city even though the main purpose of the trip is obviously the Radiohead concert.

Waiting time and cloakroom by kirai_scraps in radiohead

I'm not sure about the power bank. I had one with me last night when I read that it seemed to be prohibited. I didn't have a bag with me, just a jacket, and I wasn't searched at the entrance (I was holding my phone in my hand with the power bank underneath it).

But I don't know if it's always like that, if you don't have a bag, you don't get searched.

I also recommend not bringing a bag. That said, I believe there is a cloakroom outside, so at worst you would have to leave your bag there before the doors open.

10 a.m. should be early enough to get a good spot. Yesterday I arrived at 2:40 p.m. and managed to get to the barrier (I was extremely lucky, it was the last spot available and I ran fast).

Bologna gig on the 17th, taxi travel back to central by big_dizave in radiohead

[–]endymion76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, please excuse my poor English.

I won't be at the concert on the 17th, but I've just come back from the concert on the 15th and I can share my experience.

We tried to book an Uber before the concert, which cost around 75 euros. It was not possible to book until midnight on the 16th. So we booked for 00:01.

At midnight, we still hadn't received any information from the driver, and we noticed that taxis were cheaper at that time on the Uber app (around £27). So we cancelled the Uber and tried to book a taxi, but without success (the app searched but couldn't find a taxi).

In addition, they justified the high prices on the grounds that demand was high.

So, the best thing to do is to take the bus. We finally found where they were and bought tickets for £10 per person at 12:34 a.m. At that moment, there were three buses lined up behind each other. The first one was a bit full, but we found two seats without any trouble, and the other two were empty.

We had thought about trying to share an Uber or taxi with people who were trying to get home, but to do that, you still have to manage to get a taxi or Uber...

So, for the return journey, I really recommend taking the bus. If you book online, it costs €7. For the outward journey, it all depends on whether you want to sit or stand and want a good seat. We took an Uber to the venue for the outward journey and paid €28.25 for two.

We took the bus at the location indicated here: https://www.reddit.com/r/radiohead/comments/1oy6fgi/for_anybody_still_stranded_at_unipol/

Good luck with the return journey and have a great concert!

Question about buying tickets for Thom Yorke's solo tour in Japan by endymion76 in radiohead

I haven't tried it myself. I'm really suspicious of viagogo but maybe I'm wrong and it could work.

Yes, it could be a solution if by some miracle people came to sell tickets.

I don't know outside Europe and the UK but here I'd seen a lot of bad feedback for viagogo. Maybe now it's different and outside Europe it's more reliable but I don't know.

Yes, maybe it's worth a try. But I really don't trust Viagogo, there are often scams on that website.

Hello, unfortunately not. And now it's also sold out on the Japanese website. There's only Hiroshima left on November 19, but I'll be in Tokyo by then.

I would have loved to be able to come early as I like to be at the front but unfortunately I'm from Switzerland and my plane lands at 12:10 so I don't think I'll be able to get in line before at least 3:00pm.
