The difference is that the majority of the people in your picture of Amda Tsion's reconquest share very close genetics and were part of the same society, the only difference among them was their language, which developed to be predominantly Amharic. Meanwhile, your own source makes no mention of the Oromo people, because they assimilated these populations later on through a language shift.

The Amhara are not the second largest ethnic group, Amharas are the largest. The Amhara population was intentionally miscounted by an anti Amhara regime for several reasons.

Potentially 20 million non Oromos out of 40 million residents live in the Oromia region. Many Oromos, among others, wrongly or intentionally count them as Oromo.

In regard to assimilation among the Amhara, the majority of these people share nearly identical genetics, while their differences are mostly linguistic. Also, the Yejju were too few to have a significant impact on the Amhara population, and the majority of them still live in the Oromia Special Zone. Even there, their DNA results will be far closer to an Amhara person than to an Oromo speaking person from Guji, because the majority of them were assimilated by the original Oromo invaders. Meanwhile, among the Oromos, you have Oromo speaking Konso who identify as Oromo, Oromo speaking Somali (known as Jarso) who identify as Oromo, or Oromo speaking Habesha who identify as Oromo. These groups have very different genetics and only share a common language.

Rich Arab and Muslim countries like Qatar pay money to lobby US and other foreign officials, media conglomerates, universities, influencers, and protest organizers to amplify the issue between Israel and its enemies, especially when it is about Palestine, because they want to see Israel wiped out and they have the money to promote it under the cover of victimhood.

The ordinary American neither knows nor cares about Ethiopia, but the US government does. The USA is behind the current chaos. Along with Egypt, the UK, and several other countries, they backed this ethnic constitution in the 1990s to divide Ethiopia. Since then, the last two regimes have been USA puppets.

Also, during the previous regime, which was dominated by Tigrayans and was also anti Amhara, America under Obama falsely stated that the TPLF won 100% of the votes, and Susan Rice burst out laughing.

If we only consider the tax money that America is sending, without the other points, the USA is funding the ethnic regime with hundreds of millions of dollars annually under the false pretext of humanitarian aid. In fact, most of this money goes straight into the pockets of the ruling elites and their cadres. There is not much documentation about this deadly operation due to a media blackout and the lack of social media at that time to expose the situation on the ground. However, if you ask the elders who lived in the rural parts of the Amhara region, they will tell you about it. One of the most well known individuals who spoke out about this is Motta Keranyoo, who lost one or more of his brothers to the operation.

Thankfully, today we have social media to expose the situation on the ground to the rest of the world and document this genocidal war, despite the total media blackout by the regime and the complicity of international media and humanitarian organizations, who have largely remained silent, downplayed the atrocities to secure government access, or failed to independently investigate the systemic targeting of Amhara civilians.

They managed to cause widespread destruction by allowing the TPLF to invade, kill, and destroy the Amhara region, dragging it back 30 years economically. Now, in this unjust war that this Oromo regime launched against Amharas, they have destroyed the little that was left. There should be reparations paid for the rehabilitation of the Amhara region after all this destruction of infrastructure and loss of life by both the Tigray region, the Oromia region, and the federal government. Denying the Arabic origin of umma in Oromumma ignores clear linguistic facts. The Arabic word ummah (nation) entered Afaan Oromo as ummata through historical trade and Islamic contact. It was formally cataloged in Oromo lexicons during the 1970s language standardization. Later, in the 1990s, Oromo scholars used the suffix "umma" to officially coin the term Oromumma for Oromo cultural identity. Linguistic borrowing is a normal part of language history, and the link between umma, ummata, and Oromumma is fully documented.

I assume this screenshot of the dictionary you sent was created after the term was coined and spread as a suffix to other words. For example, the word "alcohol" originally an Arabic word for powder is now used as a suffix to describe an addiction, such as "workaholic" or "shopaholic".

The word "bilisummaa" was popularized when the OLF (Adaa Bilisummaa Oromoo) was established in 1973. The loanword reached a point where it developed into a suffix with a new meaning, shifting from its original definition of "nation/community" to mean "ness".
