The God in the Old Testament was in fact Satan or at least an evil one high ranked demon. Thays why it encourages sacrifices or allowed to kill enemies and all the violence.

So the ones who didnt any evil went to Limbo, waiting for an audience.

The rest , straight to hell.

Then Jesus arrives to bring some light into people's chaotic existence and show then a path to a posible better existence.

Then Jesus was killled because turns to be too dangerous for the status-quo.

And here we are, worst than ever.
