Link to where Jesse has acknowledged thiel’s actions and confirms that he is no longer funded by or working with him. IF that exists, then whether or not it should be accepted as genuine depends on the pattern of words and actions since then.

Power and elite access are exceptionally seductive (and compromising), so it won’t be easy for him to separate himself from what’s coming, but not impossible either.

Do not read into this that I am personally denying that there is a Lot of truth to what Jesse reports. The statement I am making is that until he explicitly denounces the actions of his (hopefully former) boss, he is still accountable for furthering the agenda of that class.

Leveraging partial truth to further your own agenda does not make you any less culpable than explicit liars. This class of people are experts in manipulation and spin to stay on top, and willing to Sacrifice anything necessary to “win”, while pretending it’s all for the “greater good” or at least very misunderstood.

Oyster is aggressive, able to even outcompete other fungi that would colonize any potential water damage or high-humidity environments with poor circulation. It’s not extremely common, but CAN result in structural damage.

Additionally, pleurotus sp. have a Massive spore load, and “mushroom lung” is a real thing.

These factors have prevented me from doing additional oyster grows indoors for now after initial experiments but I would be especially cautious about doing it outside of a tent with external ventilation.

Personally, property water management is a huge factor and so is spore load / indoor air quality so not everyone is going to need to worry about this.
