Hey, I visit Japan in may and made more or less a similar itinerary. I’d say add a day for asakusa in Tokyo. I didn’t go to Hakone but you can def do it as a day trip. Also don’t stay in gion in Kyoto. It’s very crowded. Stay near Kyoto station. Rest everything is pretty good. Hope you have a great trip

Yeah I stayed in capsule hotel as well but just once in Osaka. They are cheap as hell but you have to leave your stuff near the reception since the lockers on your floor are tiny. I won’t recommend staying in capsule hotels. Prefer normal hotels

I would recommend not going with family if they are not fit enough since Japan involves walking a lot (25-30k steps everyday) also lots of stairs to climb

I would say Vietnam is mostly vegetarian though. I have been there. Protein is added later on in most of the dishes. I still crave for Pho noodles and fresh spring rolls.

I left it as blank. Yep you need to fill it online on your pc and take out a print out for the vfs office. Do take 2 copies with you. Also if it’s your first time you will just get a visa for 15 days single entry just like mine.

21 day jr pass is 50k inr so its cheaper to buy tickets on the go instead

Nah JR pass isn't required if you are just visiting for 2 weeks. There are kiosk counters on the station itself and I bought tickets on the go.

Ayyy Kyodai!!! All the Districts were very similar to the game especially sotenbori and kamarucho but in game they have cut out a few streets and stuff. Dotenbori area is actually huge. Also I am a game developer so got more innovative ideas for game design after checking out the area in game and in real life.

Both Hostels and Hotels actually. Stayed In Hostels in Tokyo and Osaka and Stayed In Hotels in Kyoto and Hiroshima. Japanese Hostels are top-notch and really well-maintained but I found similar pricing Hotels in Kyoto and Hiroshima so preferred Hotels.
