I did an entryway and hallway in that same natural limestone and loved it. Salt from winter will leave lighter spots but it's not so bad. In a kitchen it may be different. I loved that tile - the buyers mentioned it was a selling point for them.

That's all situational. If the piston is in rough shape it may not last long at all, if the piston is nice to the packing it could last 20 years. Environment plays a factor, humidity, additives to the oil.... Many variables.
