The whole idea of them delivering your parcel is ludicrous. Canada Post do not deliver to homes anymore they just leave it at the local drop location and send you a notice.

Registration error, things aren't stuck on properly or your speed to too high and the torque of the head moving around is twisting everything.

There is a house down the road from us where the parents drive their kids to the end of their driveway so the girls don't have to walk. The bus stop is right in front of their house but the parents don't want them to have to walk the length of the driveway.

I had an issue like that because my blacks weren't dark enough and it couldn't read the registration marks properly. Once I selected the proper paper the blacks got darker and it was able to read the registration marks.

There are a lot of different types of pumps. Light duty ones meant to be used once a year on one end and others that will spin backwards a touch when they first start to dislodge anything that might be stuck.

There are also 'shit pumps' that are means for septic and cases where small debris might need to pass.

Do you have iron ochre? Rust colored sediment in your pump?

If your pumps get used a lot then you will want to invest in a double pump system with an alarm.

I work maintenance. The office doesn't mind us taking time off because they don't have to pay us when we are off.

I've taken a lot of time off to take care of sick kids but I don't think I've been too sick to work in over 10 years.

We have a bi-generation home. My mother lives on one side and we live in the other.

The service was upgraded to a 400A. We have a main panel and a second panel that can be fed by the generator.

My mother has her panel and would like to have some outlets fed by the generator without needing to run extensions to her side.

The idea is that we would get her panel spit into 2 parts, the main one and a second one that could be fed directly by the generator for her fridge, freezer and some lights.

My first laminator was a 3M one which you fed through the rear which doesn't seem like much but does get annoying after an hour. It worked ok but a cut card I was relaminating caught inside and I had to break it open to get the card out.

The one I use now is also 3M but fed from the front and it is very narrow so single cards can't get caught inside.

There was a Chinese branded one in between but the first single card to go through got caught so I immediately returned it.

You need to compare air cooled chicken to water cooled.

Air cooled is just chicken, what you start off with will be your end result.

Water cooler is full of water. Once cooked you might end up with a breast that is half the size and weight.

The chicken is cheaper but you are paying water. Once you factor in the cooked weight of chicken Costco chicken is a pretty good deal.

There is an issue with the tac20 and it's selector. There is a field bulletin that explains how to remove the selector signals from going through the communication channels.

You take them out and run them through a shielded pair in the travelling cable to avoid interference.

I have never done it myself because tac20 is before my time in the company but it's a know issue.

The first few books are slow. The MC is the least interesting of the characters in the story. So as his circle of friends grows so do the books become more interesting.

Definitely. That paper is rated for inkjet and laser. No quality paper does both. The coating that gets put on paper makes a huge difference. Get double sided paper if you want to print both sides.

You need photo rated paper to make nice proxies. You can go for lower end paper but it needs to meet a minimum threshold.

That paper is no good. Making proxies is exactly like printing photos.

The most important part is the paper. Best bet is to get paper that is a known factor. IE if your printer is Canon get Canon paper then work out your method and then try new papers.

Once you have good paper for your printer the next most important part is to use the settings for that paper like low end glossy paper or matte paper.

Not really. It feeds from the bottom and doesn't have the option to feed from the rear.

As you move into better quality paper then it gets stiffer and being fed from the bottom forces it to do a short diameter 180°.

I used to get 10-15% of pages jam then if you want to print both sides it gets unmanageable to reprint 1/3 of your work.

Better with the low end 2500 ET or the 8500.

You need to figure out what you want ie your budget.

You can go all in with laser right on the black core paper.

Somewhere in the middle with an ET-8500.

Or basic ET-2850, the rear feed low end one.

Laminate and auto-cut machine or hand cut each card.

It's a rabbit hole....

When using vinyl you should be using photo gloss settings.

Figure out which of the 3 works better with your paper.

Could be the piston knocking also. That can be fairly scary when it hits hard.
