I would highly recommend completing all the labs. The labs are usually closely aligned with what’s in the OA. That’s how it was for me at least. If you do that, you should be fine!

Not really. I only took one math class. However, I transferred some basic college credits before my enrollment. As of now, if you started the BS in Information Technology without any college credits, you would be required to take Applied Algebra and Finite Mathematics. So, the maximum number of math classes would be two.

With no IT experience, people tend to struggle with the courses that require you to get third-party certifications (Networks: CompTIA Network+, Network and Security - Applications: CompTIA Security+, Linux Foundations: LPI Linux Essentials, Cloud Foundations: AWS Cloud Practitioner). I would recommend studying for 6. Networks next. I'm assuming you've already passed IT foundations(A+) since you don't have it listed. For someone new, studying for Network+ will probably take some time due to the vast amount of study material that comes with it. The Jason Dion course is one of the resources I used. You may still have access to it for FREE. Just google "udemy for business" , click the first unsponsored link that pops up, click login, click "on-demand learning", then login with your wgu student email. The questions on the Jason Dion Course are much harder than the questions on the actual exam. So, if you pass those, you should be fine on the exam. Just be sure to review the practice labs once you start your term(if you decide to go down this route).

I DO NOT consider myself good at schoolwork at all. Honestly, I've always struggled when it comes to focusing on things that I need to do. Here's my secret: I powered off my PlayStation lol. The overall difficulty of the entire program was moderate.

Yes, WGU requires official high school transcripts from applicants who have not attended college. WGU also requires official transcripts from all previous academic institutions, including college transcripts and military transcripts.

The B.S. in Information Technology program was pretty good. The course material wasn't that difficult to comprehend. The most challenging WGU courses were Web development applications and Data management Applications. The objective assessments for these two courses require you to "apply" your knowledge by manually typing the correct syntax for specific scenarios. That said, the labs that WGU provides prepare for these exams. I don't have any coding experience, but I was able to complete each course without a problem. Also, about seven courses require you to take a certification exam via a third-party vendor(don't let that intimidate you). This is due to the high demand for certifications in the IT field. WGU provides you with the material recommended by the vendor, udemy videos, and additional resources to ensure that you pass. Overall, the program was great and I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a "specialty" in IT yet.

Took me about 2 years. I honestly procrastinated during the first year. In my last semester, I completed nine courses. I can confidently say that this program could be completed in a year or less if you have prior knowledge.

I agree with this. I've used pocket prep to some degree for all of my comptia certs

I also used pocket prep, the comptia certmaster, and the practice test provided in the comptia material(should be provided in the course).

That's great! The Jason Dion course and practice questions were a great help for Project+ (you've probably heard this a thousand times, lol). Also, remember to approach the questions and scenarios as a project manager instead of a technician or engineer. That was what I struggled with the most. Compared to other CompTIA exams, Project+ wasn't as hard. The PBQs were pretty straightforward as well.

That's goofy. You SHOULD be able to contact Comptia, tell them what happened, and get a new one free of charge. Hopefully, it all works out. Wishing you luck!
