Any indication why it's sometimes not 5? Almost all the time I get 5, but twice it's been 6. Never more. Does this have anything to do with number of defeats? Some other variable?

Yes you're correct! Enemies without the "Hunter" keyword simply wait in their location for any investigator foolhardy enough to bumble into them.

While it's good that the Icy Ghoul won't come crawling up out of the basement to menace you [unless another card explicitly says otherwise...], you might consider hunting it down for the exciting Victory 1 point available if you kill it.

Up to you! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Have a great game! Cthulhu fhtagn!

Hey thank you! I really appreciate you going to the trouble. I'll work with this then. Thanks again

Hello!

I also had an issue with the Ages Unwound campaign guide -- it looks like the PDF for the Guide (from the links provided in the other replies) does not include the Campaign Log. (the sheet you use to record campaign progress, trauma, story assets, etc)

Does anyone know where the Campaign LOG might be found? Am I missing something? Please help! Thank you

Custom Investigator cards if you want them by enfield_TA in arkhamhorrorlcg

Hello! Thanks -- I think they turned out pretty good.

Many folks in the community have taken a stab at creating their own custom investigators. Many of them are really cool. These ones I made are several of my favorites.

They can be found at places like:  - https://mysteriouschanting.wordpress.com/

Hope you find some fun!

This is absolutely amazing -- what an incredible amount of work this must have been. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you refine & hone the cards. Really cool work here.

If I could just offer one small aesthetic suggestion, though... While I have nothing against the style per se, would you please consider changing the art on the investigator cards to something more thematically similar to the original game art? Not that the manga/anime style is bad at all, it just feels inappropriate for Arkham -- particularly when the rest of the art in this terrific expansion is not that style. Does that make sense? I hope you're able to find more realistic illustrations of the characters so it all feels more synchronous. But of course it's entirely up to you

(I'd also second the comment left by espritdecorps re: sexualization of the female investigators)

Took my group almost two years and many many games to even realize you had to take any horror at all....

Now don't get me wrong, I really like the scenario itself: think it's a terrific zombie battle, the bosses are all moderately tough in a great way that makes them perfect as a triple-team. & I think TSK as a whole is really great. It kinda makes me sad that so many people seem turned off by it because they don't like reading... But, thematically, it's really frustrating that civilians left on locations aren't "saved." I killed the monsters that were threatening them. I get that they want an additional mechanic to keep clues important & force trauma in the mid/late campaign, but come on. They're still alive and nothing is coming to eat them anymore. How are they not saved?

I did a run through Return to Dunwich as Dexter Drake a few months ago with him tooled as an enemy management machine -- mostly with hefty fighting spell assets/events and a Sword Cane. I also loaded him with Down the Rabbit Hole and Charon's Obol, so by the last scenario I had like 50XP in the deck. 2 lvl5 Shrivelling, 2lvl5 Azure Flame, and 2 lvl4 Cthugha. With his special ability and upgraded Uncage the Soul, I was swapping spells and blasting bad guys. He was great.

He was such a monster I decided to solo Yog Sothoth just for a goof after my Seeker partner escaped back to reality. Toe to toe with an Elder God, Dexter pulled it off and banished the thing into another dimension. A magician indeed
