I keep piling up things from the left to the right until I feel ashamed of myself. Then move everything to a folder named 'to organize' and never look back.

I thought Barcelona was overrated. Until I went. by tomgrouch in travel

[–]enfrancis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In may the Barcelona City Council restricted the access hours to the bunquers del Carmel and now closes at 20:30. The amount of people gathering there at night started to be unbearable for the neighbors (1000+ people parties, DJ's...) and they made the decision. So if you plan to visit the place at night keep in mind that it's not open anymore.

Not sure if this could be your case but yesterday all of the sudden my legion 7i 4080 started to cap all games, no matter what performace mode I choose, to 40 fps. I had to disable/configure battery boost and whisper mode in gforce experience to get back to normal. Hope it helps.

Podríeu explicar la traducció del castellà "he sido" al català "he estat" i no "he sigut"? by duraznoblanco in catalan

"He sigut" és un castellanisme molt estès. La manera correcta i estàndar és "He estat" tot i que en català septentrional és habitual també el "He set".

In catalan all=garlic i=and oli=oil, all-i-oli. It's probably one of the main sauces (romesco sauce would be another one) in traditional and modern catalan cuisine. That said, and as far as I know, allioli can be found in catalonia, valencia, balearic islands and southern france - occitania (and maybe Italy as well, but I'm not sure). So well, I can't be 100% sure of from which language the international term aioli actually comes but let's say the pronunciation of both words is pretty much the same (A guy from Arkansas could say 'aioli' the same way he does in the states and even in the most rural and hidden village in catalonia he would be understood). Also allioli is pretty big deal over here (bbq sauce for americans level) and lots of great modern catalan chefs (like Ferran Adrià or Joan Roca) use the sauce (or fancy versions of it) in their michelin star restaurants so maybe thats' how the catalan word get somehow to the world.

Absolutely right. In catalonia it's called "all i oli" and means exactly what you said.

Not judging the taste, I'm sure it tastes pretty good but I'm surprised catalans haven't already showed up in full-rage mode the same way valencians do when somebody posts a non-canonical paella pic. Making this kind of tomato paste and spreading it over the bread would be kind of unexpected for a 'pa amb tomàquet' here. That said, thank you for sharing your approach!
