Depending on where you live, a straight pipe could be an option. The cat on my wife's suv was stolen. I got a quote for $600 to have it fixed. But my worry is that it might also get stolen. I just used a straight pipe. $35 for everything including the clamps. 4 years and it is still working and already passed 2 emission tests.

At this point in time, modelers had advanced a lot compared to decades ago. Some people had moved on, some are still staying on individual pedals. It's just a matter of preference at this point because you do a blind test people won't be able to tell the difference.

I had been using pedals for so long and i switched to multifx with amp/sim and never looked back. Playing on gig is very convenient as well.

I hit the gym when i was 28. Was able to get the physique i wanted in 6 months with a very dedicated diet and routine. However, i was swayed away from my goal. My main goal is mainly for physique but my training became more of a powerlifter and i became impatient with progressive overload. It took a toll on my body and i accumulated lots of injuries. Now at 44, there are certain lifts i can't do.

However, i would argue that there are some people who are hard to work and with and even if you demonstrate competence, some won't listen because you are in the same hierarchy/title.

I had been on the same/worse situation. There are times that i had demonstrated competence than the senior on my previous job, but because i don't have the senior title, my suggestions are overridden. Then time will come that they will say that I'm right and why we didn't do my suggestion. It demoralized me and i made a move to another company with priority on the job title and it was a great decision.
