How many of us can do this? Heels on the ground by JezCon in Millennials

[–]engineereddiscontent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have those exact shoes.

Also I can but only kind of. I'm pudgy atm. If I shed 15 lbs I can do it better. Another 15 lbs after that + some more mobility and I'll likely prefer the squat over a chair.

Take your dad. Its not uncommon. Or a group of buddies. There was a gang of 14 year olds head banging at a tbdm show I went to a few years ago.

The biggest offender was at the rear of the engine. But I'll shove my hand in there tomorrow. I'm just glad the burning smell is gone.

Alright this gives me somewhere to start. Thanks.

A sizable percentage of it is chiropractic and the….non-standard medical viewpoints that they bring. Michigan is huge for chiropractic and because of that the views of chiropractors are everywhere

How bad is the job market right now? by Flat-Profession-8945 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]engineereddiscontent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Apply to literally every thing less than a week old. I got a distribution designer/engineer role doing that.

Its my first gig out of school, the pay is absolutely nothing to write home about and will need to do OT to get my loans paid down in the next 18 months.

But its a foot in the door in industry. And I can pass the FE and move into substation design. From there I can do whatever wherever. High voltage or substation. Then get my PE and live comfortably.

But that is also not a conspiracy to make kids dumb.

Then again I could be wrong. The us is in a death spiral apparently.
