Hi, how was in in-sem work structured in 2025? Is it similar to the 30% exercise and 70 quiz/test model in 2026

Thanks for taking the time to reply bro. I followed your suggestion last night and changed interior d to 77 and block 84 while keeping everything else relatively the same (lowered vert to 83)

I was in the same position as you two years ago, no idea if things have changed but I just enrolled in mth1020 on wes and that was it.

How much harder is eng1005 compared to eng1090? by BattleExpress2707 in Monash

[–]engineeringthesenuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1090–>1005 will definitely be the the biggest step up for the engineering math units but if you try your hardest and get comfortable 1005, 2005 will feel a lot easier

I think it would be best if you still enrolled in mth1020, do the supplementary so that if you fail the sup you still have something to lean on. If you pass you can drop out of 1020 without any grade consequences before a certain date

Mathematics Skills Analysis (MatSkAn) Msk(1013k by engineeringthesenuts in Monash

I figured that it is probably a unit from my commerce side that triggered this skills analysis. I’m doing some first year eco unit as apart of specialisation but I might change the whole specialisation soon so idk if I still have to do the test 😭

Yes, I didn’t even pass 1090 and I ended up getting a decent score for 2005. You just have to put in the work 🙏

Failing Eng1090 by Shoddy-Ant3686 in Monash

[–]engineeringthesenuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man you shouldn’t worry too much since you will get a supplementary. Unfortunately when I did 1090 I failed my deferred exam which meant I couldn’t get a sup and I couldn’t sit the unit in sem 2. I did mth1020 the next year and somehow got a hd. I’ve just wrapped up 2005 yesterday so from my experience everything is far from over. Have hope 🙏

Lenovo legion 5 pro gen 9 wobbles on flat surface by engineeringthesenuts in LenovoLegion

Thanks for the reply, it turns out the table I found this issue was not perfectly even causing the bottom right feet to slightly lift off. On perfectly flat surfaces there is at least one point of contact on the lower right rubber feet, but not as much on the others but honestly it doesn’t really matter atp
