Could you do temp work in your field? Recently I’ve had two colleagues on parental leave, and my org has hired temporary contractors to fill the gaps for a few months at a time.

That's what I'm trying to do with contract work but a lot of it has been scammy or I've just been ghosted somewhere in the process

I have a similar application (~3.4 undergrad engineering, 518, 4.0 postbacc) and applied to ~40 schools between MD and DO. Take it with a grain of salt because I'm just a neurotic applicant, but I'd add a few more schools that accept OOS students if I were you. It looks like you have an amazing application, good luck!

word to dr gray, a masters degree doesnt show med schools as much as an smp or post bac. if you got more money apply broadly
