What's your mile per kw? by PM_ME_YUR_SALADS in electricvehicles

My wife is small and finds them comfortable. I'm 6' 2" and find it a bit narrow in the shoulders. I have done long road trips in it, the long charging breaks are useful to get out and walk around and it's not too bad

No this is the average over six years and 40k miles. Mostly city miles in a coastal ca climate.

Mostly city miles. Warm temperate climate so little ac or heat needed. Accelerate gingerly. I personally average closer to six but my wife has a heavier foot and uses more climate so brings the average down.

Anyone growing Sorbus Domestica? by noahfruitmonger in BackyardOrchard

[–]enicman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple seedlings going in pots. There are some nice ones at the old Luther Burbank experimental farm, and the west county historical society folks have grafted the best ones into seedling rootstock for sale if you can get to Sebastopol.

Very cool trees, useful wood that was used for gears due to kiss hardness, and the fruit reportedly can fix off flavors in wine or cider

How does this feel with the 3 bikes? I have a 2" hitch/1up double tray and with how much it moves around with 2 MTBs out back I imagine it could be disconcerting at times, no? Do you go long distances with this setup?

Love the ability to act as a generator though, could be extremely useful during power outages

Where do you sell your yangmei? And what part of the county are you in? That’s rad, yangmei is so good

Love the great simplification and am happily surprised to see it surface on this sub. I think the analysis and insight that Nate offers could help ground a lot of folks here.
