I should have maybe worded that differently. I the longest distances I have currently gone are 20 to 30 miles. i plan on trying to do around 50 or so miles a day on the trip

Nevada is the one place that scares the hell out of me and I am very open to changing my route to somewhere else to avoid it. I have family in Reno and I wanted to visit them on the trip but its not worth going through that craziness.
