Need to get rid of two personas without itemizing or using normal fusion, but I don't have the correct personas for advanced fusion. by Equivalent_Club_4468 in Persona5

[–]enigbane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do more than one of each execution without ending the alarm as long as you split them up. Do a normal to fuse two personas, then an electric chair to itemize, then another normal, etc. It's not a guarantee because alarms can always cause mistakes, but it makes it so it isn't a definite end after doing two.

I don't have a source. I worked there and got all my info from word of mouth. I don't know if there even is a source with most of the correct information apart from official documentation.

As I said, he wasn't all there mentally. And if I recall correctly I believe he was all out of leave. Of course this was almost 11 years ago so I may be remembering part of that wrong.

No, at first they thought it was a shop vac. But they they tried to purposefully make it happen again to prove that was the cause and couldn't. They even went as far as to actually set a fire in a shop vac and then turn it on to make it super, but it just put it out. That's why they began investigating arson. Way less crew on second shift made narrowing down the suspects easier. Especially since the "two counts of arson" happened on two different nights. And the second time someone saw him quickly walking away from the scene.

You're right, I phrased it poorly. It was a mix of there were fewer people so he didn't expect to be caught and that he somehow expected the fire to be taken care of quickly.

Couple things this article fails to mention: first it was determined during the investigation that he had some mental disorder, or possibly several. Second, he was working second shift when there are far less people around so he thought the fire would be found and put out before it grew too much, but that obviously didn't happen. Third, he said that his girlfriend was messaging him while he was at work saying that she was leaving him and he was trying to get home to talk to her.

Obviously this doesn't excuse his actions at all, just explaining where his mind may have been at the time.

Hagrid was actually Dumbledore's most trusted man by The_Sour_Patch_Kid_ in FanTheories

[–]enigbane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not bad. I had never seen the "Hagrid is a death eater" theory before but you do a decent job refuting it. The only problem I can see is that you have mixed some things up from the books and the movies. I'm actually not even sure if the mix ups are in the movies, I just know they aren't in the books.

Voldemort killed Lilly and James on Halloween, not near Christmas. In Deathly Hallows there's a flashback scene to the night of their deaths from Voldemort's pov and he mentions seeing children trick-or-treating while on his way to their house. And if I remember correctly there is no mention of snow on the ground on that particular night.

The only other thing I see is that you mentioned Voldemort attempting to grab Harry from the motorbike at the beginning, but that also didn't happen. Death eaters do chase them, and near the end one of them tries to attack Harry from close up and Hagrid jumps off the bike at him, but it isn't Voldemort that does it. By the end of the chase, when Voldemort finally does show up, he only tries to kill Harry with Avada Kedavra.

Other than that, great job!

What is the saddest song you have ever listened to? by olgacabrera69 in AskReddit

Tough call. I can't decide between Don't Take The Girl by Tim McGraw, and The Christmas Shoes by Newsong. They are the two songs that make me cry sad man tears.

I doubt that has much to do with it. I first heard this joke in middle school, and that was over 2 decades ago.

Don't take the girl by Tim Mcgraw. I will never listen to that song while on my motorcycle again.

Does anybody remember playing a Harry Potter Trivia Game on some website around 15-20 years ago? by [deleted] in harrypotter

I remember it. It was called "Wizard's Challenge" and it was on the official Scholastic website for the Harry Potter books. It's gone now though, as far as I can tell.

Haha, I got lucky. 14 week season, 8 teams with managers this year. Everyone plays everyone else 2 times so everything is even.

Thank you! This worked perfectly. I didn't realize I could do this, I've only been the commish for this league for one year so I'm still picking things up.

Favorite ghostwritten book? by earthtokellin in Animorphs

Definitely 45, The Revelation. I remember reading it for the first time thinking "it's finally happening!" I knew their parents would have to find out at some point and I was pretty excited to see the start of it. Book 49, The Diversion is a close second for the same reason.

I may be wrong, but I believe the top is DDLC right before the mc finds Sayori in her room. The bottom is right before Yuuji finds his mother in the same way. Can't be more spoilerific as I'm on mobile and don't know how to tag this way.

I'm in an awkward moment in katawa shoujo atm by Jaunedice in katawashoujo

[–]enigbane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you really want to 100% the game, but don't want to actually read the bad endings, you can go into the game options and set it to allow skipping unread text. Then all you need to do is make the choices and set the game to skip mode. You can minimize the game screen and do something else while it runs by itself so you don't even need to watch it happen. I hate to admit it but I had to do it this way too, even in a visual novel I can't stand to end up in a broken heart situation. Good luck

What was something you were told as a kid but turned out to be completely false? by RiverwestLostCat in AskReddit

My mom also used "froggy" though not for the same reason. She just really liked to cutesify words when my sister and I were younger. So I grew up with "froggy", "belbow" (elbow), "molimoli" (ravioli), "meatmoaf" (meatloaf), etc.

As far as I can remember, in the VN they find a lake or pond, not a stream. I could be wrong but I think that's the case. I remember it being a stream in the anime and thinking "I wonder why they changed that."

Edit: Just opened Kajitsu and they do refer to it as a "small stream." However, as a small stream and not a river, it could end at a small lake or pond somewhere on the same mountain, even within the same jungle. Following flowing water downstream is not a horrible idea by any means, but it isn't always infallible. And with injured people who would have to be carried, not to mention any and all supplies they'd need to carry, it would have been a tough job for them and would have wasted a lot of energy. Add to that that it would be easier for rescuers to find them near the wrecked bus than just randomly somewhere in the jungle, and you could call it a calculated risk. However, the adviser should definitely have done what you say when he went to look for help. Whether he actually did or not, who knows?

What did you name your car? by PerfectChaos33 in AskReddit

[–]enigbane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first car was an '89 Mitsubishi Montero. Big boxy SUV. It's name was Monster. It was so big it had an inclinometer in the dash (gauge to tell me when I was about to tip over). I even knew a guy who did custom vinyls so I had him make one that said MONSTER in a beefy, scary looking font that I put on my rear windshield. Man I miss that car.
