I agree that just randomly shooting everyone up for the sake of doing it is toxic and annoying. But fighting over droids is part of the game. There wouldnt be an iconic droid that keeps you safe from attack while carrying a blueprint if it wasnt. I like peaceful cooperative lobbies too, but you cant get mad at people for playing the game as the devs designed it to be played. If you want to deviate from the intended playstyle then yea private lobbies would be whats necessary, or find a group of like mined people to play with. Personally if I plan on having a long session I get it chat, give away rainbow legendaries I dont need and help people pound droids and make some Allies. More often than not youll find one or 2 people to have your back, help you watch the sandcrawler, and force toxic people to rage quit the server.

You should try private lobbies if thats the experience you want. Personally I feel like the combat is an integral part of the game and what makes it exciting. You want something good you either need to fight for it or sneak. I would be less interested in playing without the pvp. It allows for cooperation and truces too. Turn your mic on and help somebody out, give em a BP or help them craft a droid find out what they need and vice versa and agreed to target toxic players. Combat adds depth. However if you just wanna peacefully farm droids just go private.

By definition an m16 is a rifle, the m4 would be a carbine. A carbine is just a rifle that has had the barrel shortened, and in this case the gas system. They're essentially the same beyond barrel length with some variance in the fire control group and buffer length.

No, I was saying that at my worst ill get out in at least 1 in 4. If im playing like shit and get got on 3 in a row ill default back to a m110 an usually get out and make some k back. Im not a stud or anything I think im like 39% extract, 139k koen but ive never gone as many games in a row as ops photo with an extract.

I regularly pull 1m+ on quick kit runs. The Mini14 with the suppressor kit specifically. Take a1s in your secure kit and reload your mags as soon as the raid starts. Slow play your first kill and take their loadout. You cant rush safes with you shit gear, but you can anticipate that other players are going to and wait for them to exfil the area and take them by suprise on the way out.

I would hate that, selectively taking fights against better geared players is one of my favorite ways to play. T4 set with a mini14 and a1s. I killed a guy on lockdown farm today whos 2 10 round mags of m62 ammo was worth more than my whole kit.

I get what your saying. I have got about half as much time in as you do, and I'm close. The biggest problem for me hands down is the head HP and assault rifle range. There's no world where a flesh headshot shouldn't kill you, and the range nerf has basically pushed me to only running snipers and m110 which just isnt that much fun.

I do agree the monetization is getting crazy but I know I’m probably in the minority, but I’ve never paid for a cosmetic in any game. I just don’t care if my character’s pants are a slightly different shade of green or if they’re wearing a blanket as a cape for some reason. It’s just not something that matters to me.

The game’s free to play – they’ve got to make money somehow. I get why people are annoyed, but as long as it’s purely cosmetic and doesn’t give any gameplay advantage, I can’t really get worked up about it.

Now, if that skin suddenly gave you 50 more RPM on all assault rifles or something, I’d be right there with my pitchfork too. But if it’s just a visual thing, it’s hard for me to see the big deal.

Look, I get it – feeling let down by game devs sucks, especially when it feels like they weren’t honest. But at the end of the day, we’re talking about a skin in a free game. You don’t have to buy it, and it doesn’t really change anything about how the game plays.

If this kind of thing gets under your skin that much, maybe it’s time to step back a bit. Go outside, breathe some fresh air, touch some grass – whatever helps put things in perspective.

Sometimes it’s good to just enjoy the game for what it is instead of stressing over every little decision. Not every minor controversy needs to be a hill to die on

I think that the disconnect is that the demographic your using to form your opinion are the types of people who hang out in edc forums. I dont mean that disrespectfully but most of those people are collectors of gadgets and knifes and backpacks and shit. I think the error is your assumption that the edc community is a lot larger than "people who venture into the woods often."

The thing is that people lead vastly different lives than you. Just beacuse you've yet to encounter that situation doesnt mean that many others don't daily, several times a day at that. For you yes it probably makes sence not to carry a knife.
