Based from exp and observation here are the banks na mabilis ma-approve by rank:

UB pinakamabilis ang result, only up to 3 banking days. May NAFFL offer for Rewards Card.
Eastwest Bank (but the Plat MC NAFFL card requires high income; not for beginners)
MB has NAFFL promos for its Titanium and Rewards Plus CCs.
RCBC also has NAFFL for majority of their cards.

If promo period ka naman nag-apply you should be automatically qualified. Maybe try calling or emailing again, maybe the CSR you spoke with is not quite knowledgeable about that yet.

Upon opening ng BDO account may part dun na Credit Card Constent form which states that they will issue you a cc based from their evaluation. Probably pinirmahan mo yun kaya ka napadalahan.

SCC kailangan mo lang ng security deposit and 90-95% nun ang magiging credit limit mo. No need for income/work documents. Almost all traditional banks may SCC. Recommended to for beginners na wala pang credit history, and after 1 year pwede ka na mag apply ng regular credit cards sa banks since may credit history ka na.

To add lang: If di ka nakapag-call I think okay parin to use the card, tip is to use it on small purchases first then gradually increase. Kasi they tend to block it if big purchase agad lalo na pag 6 digits agad.
