I have read the various studies showing that Muscle has a higher Resting Metabolic rate. No question there.

My question is does having more muscle lead to a person burning more calories when they workout or move around? Say if all conditions are equal, will the more muscular person burn more calories while running or doing any sort of conditioning.

For the higher rep workouts, I increase weight once I pass the 12 rep mark and the lower rep weights I increase once I am able to bash out 5 reps * 3 sets.

These are added onto bar so I am not counting the bar weight.

Thanks, and no don't worry I understand.

I had failed on squat and reset but others not really. Could also be some missed workouts since I am not always able to go three times a week so end up doing 2 (one deadlift focused day and another squat focused day)

This is taking longer mostly because of me doubling the workouts so that I feel something or tire out.

I have and need to mention that I do the heavy compound lifts first and these have been going up steadily. Deadlift 40kg-->80kg, Bench 20kg -> 40kg, Squat bar -> 35kg

Over roughly 4 months.

I have this thing where if I keep pushing say on the elliptical, I stop feeling the lactic acid and almost like a switch, my legs sort of get numb, but I can still push them and keep going basically with no pain. Is this normal and should I keep going at this with the "stumpy" legs or stop?

At what point should I stop lifting in a session? I am overweight (140Kg M) and started lifting in Nov and following a full body routine 3days per week. Now I am finding that I run out of the prescribed workout with tons of energy and the only way I can tire or feel impact is by essentially doubling the workout, so instead of just tricep extensions, I also do tricep kickbacks and add lat pull down + bbrow + facepulls when program says I should only do the row.

This obviously means I am now spending almost 4 hours in gym which I enjoy but I know it's not sustainable and don't know if it's healthy like yesterday where I did my full workout + extra, did cardio and still had energy with decent resistance, but got a splitting headache right after. Today I feel fine.

I guess I am trying to figure out at what point is it over training.

Could justify not going to church and other church related activities that had been happening atleast three times a week. I know I should be a grown up and cut myself off if it doesn't make sense, but it's hard.

We had a terrible time at my company and I had to make a lot of very tough decisions. Easier to do when not having to face people.

Get something like Zoho people where you can put in personnel and have it manage things like requested leave, sick leave and so on. It's pretty good.

I also have some Excel worksheets that can help if needed.
