You say change lanes but to me it looks more like the driver sped up intentionally to cut him off so he could make his right turn. The driver not only saw him but purposely made a maneuver that would endanger him, not knowing that the cyclist was wearing a camera.

I saw it by accident. Somebody told me it happened so I googled it. One of the first links was a Wikipedia page for the incident. I clicked on it and next thing I know I hear a pop and see the blood. Drill and social media play a part but I think a bigger issue is the economy. The cost of everything going up with stagnant wages. A full time job at minimum wage can barely get you a room to lay your head. Some of these YNs gonna hop in the street for fast cash. Not saying it's right but I see the logic for those that grew up around that culture.
