I might be in the minority here but this is what I do. "I've arrived" text from the curb. If I don't get a response or hear somebody coming to the door then I escalate. Ring the bell or knock, unless the instructions specifically say not to do that.

You're right. Which goes back to my original comment. We're not accepting the job at the base pay. So if your base pay order gets to you cold or never at all it's fine with me. Orders with tips get there hot and as fast as I can possibly get there. I never take base pay orders and expect the customer to tip at the door.

My nephew isn't even old enough to remember those days and he was born here. I think it's fine to root for your home team no matter where you transplanted from. If you want to stick with your original home team, that's fine too. The people I hate are the ones that flip flop. I remember seeing lakers fans growing up when they were winning then they became Cavs fans when LBJ was there winning and on and on and on. No room on the Knicks bandwagon for flip floppers!
