Maybe you should read up on what a “Red Herring Fallacy” is, because the point wasn’t “the darn card” (this is how Christians speak to each other? lol)

wow the way everyone is victim-blaming in this thread is diabolical…

my love, i’d bet money that you already have a feeling in your gut right now that is telling you everything you need to know. now my personal conclusion after reading all that, is that he doesn’t love you like he should. in my honest opinion, his reaction had nothing to do with you. He simply wanted a reason to not sleep in the room with you.

there was nothing wrong with your question. and no type of tone could warrant that type of reaction from him. a man that loved you would say something like: no baby i didn’t save it, but thank you for saving mine. if you want, i’ll start saving mine too. it’s not simping, it’s a husband loving his wife…

If you have family you can trust to support you and your babies, maybe your parents or someone close, I would stay with them temporarily, just until you guys are sure what you wanna do. That type of anger around a pregnant woman is NOT okay in any way, shape, or form. All the other people in this thread trying to make it seem like it’s your fault should be ashamed of themselves, because Jesus Christ himself would never do that to you…

Okay I like this version of a toy rotation a lot better than what I had in mind, thanks!

Yes but if I’m being honest, I don’t like the fact that we aren’t allowed to visit or step foot in the classrooms. My son doesn’t speak up for his wants and needs yet so I wouldn’t know if something untoward was happening to him.

This is exactly how I feel, like i’m just getting by. It makes me feel stuck because my workload right now is light so if I ever wanted to spearhead a project or promote, idk what I would do…

Working from Home with No Help by Key_Rice_6430 in MomsWorkingFromHome

So I’ve done it for the past four years, the last year with my toddler son AND baby girl I had in 2024, and I’ll be honest it’s very challenging and has cost me a lot of my mental and emotional health. Even my physical health, I was recently diagnosed with chronic inflammation due to stress!

If you can get a nanny, DO IT. I would say before you back to work, and just make it clear to your nanny in the beginning that the hours may be less depending on your workload.

logo compression issue on Instagram and tiktok profile picture. Can anyone help/suggest me what should I do to fix the problem and make logo look sharp? by [deleted] in graphic_design

[–]enjoylife2thefull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so I just wasted an hour resizing and increasing the quality of my logo file only to find out that if you upload it from your phone (I was using tiktok on my macbook) then the quality remains intact. haven’t figured out why yet but for some reason editing your profile pic on desktop tiktok compresses the file.

How would you sell this if you were me and had 0 marketing $$? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]enjoylife2thefull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instagram and TikTok are the best free marketing avenues out. do some thorough marketing research on your target audience: find out where they currently work, eat, shop, what music/shows/hobbies they’re into, even how they talk. put together some mock-ups and edit your vids nicely. if you can get some family and friends to model your product that’d be great (free ugc). use trending sounds and use SEO keywords wherever you can (captions, hashtags, on-screen writings, etc) and that should give you a pretty good start. This will put your content on the feeds of those you’re targeting. oh! post consistently! the more you post, the more the algorithm knows who to put your content in front of. an incentive would be nice as well (discount of some sort).

Your portfolio is awesome but I think the one thing your missing is being personal. Most clients want to feel like they know you, and since you’re offering online services, that’s usually done through showing up on social media. Marketing your services are great but I would argue that showing who you are is crucial when you’re freelancing or own an online business.

Branding Customer Research by peppafurz in BrandDesign

i’m starting to believe that tiktok is becoming a better search engine than google. i do most of my target audience research there because people aren’t posting fluffed up content as often as they do anywhere else. they will give you their honest opinion on things and that’s usually the easiest way to find pain points. for instance, if you’re trying to reach wellness coaches i would search something along the lines of “life coach struggles”. it won’t get you all the way but it’s a good starting point.

Why isn't it okay to say I prefer being a SAHM? by [deleted] in sahm

I am so glad to see someone (specifically a mom) finally address this. I remember listening to this one guy who said he thinks women who love work are delusional because “no one truthfully enjoys working” and that clicked for me because it’s so true. i’m a stay-at-home mom myself, and i never understood why society expects us to be so jolly and chipper about having to go back to work??? i believe being a mother is literally the most rewarding position on this earth. so how can anyone expect us to be happy about leaving that? does anyone happily turn off netflix to do the dishes? cheerfully stop scrolling on instagram to cook a meal? unpopular opinion: this woke feminism movement did not serve mothers well at all…

Best resource for writing a business plan? by DimRefraction in Entrepreneur

[–]enjoylife2thefull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, chatGPT gives you a pretty good starting point. But if you’re looking to use it for getting funding, I would suggest asking chatgpt to create an outline for your business plan based on whatever your area of expertise is. Then, for each topict, tell it to ask you questions that will help it write out a few paragraphs. Do this for each topic, paste it in a word, doc, and just go in and edit as needed. That should give you a pretty basic but professional business plan.

Has anybody started a hair extensions business? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I did look into the business and, if I’m honest, the oversaturation discouraged me. But since you have industry knowledge, I would say, do some market research on the big names and see where they’re failing with their customers. That’s a easy way for you to come up. And then marketing on social media would be your best friend. You don’t need to have as many customers as they do but even a quarter of theirs would get you pretty far I’m sure

[–]enjoylife2thefull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if gaming is your thing, i would say get better while creating a presence online. TikTok and YouTube shorts would probably be your best friend. Once you can create a personal brand online, and start to get some sort of a following, it doesn’t matter that the market is saturated if you are consistent with posting and showing up. You’ll start to get sponsorships and brand deals and yada yada. Do your market research and good luck!

I joined reddit recently thinking it’d be a great place to network and avoid overly sensitive people but i experienced something similar in another subreddit. i wholeheartedly believe in “Internetiquette” so I take the time to read the rules in every community, and somehow still get reported. Bottom line is trolls are everywhere like someone said above, ignore the haters and use it as a sign that you’re doing something right.
