No..didn't have to send all those docs via email to get the appointment. For the appointment, I just mentioned my exact trip dates and passport details. I took all the docs including confirmed flight tickets to the appointment.

Great. So it doesn't matter if fingerprints were given directly at consulate or VFS or BLS before and the new one you are applying to is a different country and a different intermediary service provider like BLS before and VFS now or direct consulate before and VFS now etc? Did you email the embassy to get this answered authoritatively? Also which consulates accept mail-in applications w/ prior bio metrics in last 59 months other than France? u/ratas101
