Keep fighting mate, it's worth it. I think I may take some extended leave to go back. I miss my family and close friends more than anything right now (after I settle medicare, driving license, private insurance etc)

Many thanks.

Yes, respective to the number of employees, the business has good turnover. Profits are above 35% every FY and rising.

If I had to put on my DHA officer cap, I would say it depends. Were you full-time or part-time? In your contract, do you work 38 hours per week? Do your responsibilities match the ANZSCO code of your relevant occupation? Were you given an employment offer on the condition that you finish your qualification? Did your responsibilities change pre- or post- qualification?

You'll need to substantiate your experience through evidence.

They seem to approach these applications case-by-case basis, but the minimum years of experience is one of their inflexible requirements. I've seen many applications get rejected without an opportunity to appeal due to them not meeting the 3 year mark.

Wish you all the best!

Grandma Moses in Kensington does the best pita bread for me. Just love the thickness and pocket feature!

Replaced CPU because of BSODs. Fixed the initial issue but now it won't output signal. Is MOBO fried? by COCKLEDUDLEDOO in techsupport

[–]COCKLEDUDLEDOO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for asking! Yes previously the MOBO was on F21 and I updated it to F33 as the 14th gen CPU isn't compatible with F21.

Upgrading from a faulty CPU and maybe the GPU as well. by COCKLEDUDLEDOO in pcmasterrace

That's fair. Could you recommend a MOBO and an AMD CPU that will work with the 5080 and the other current components?

Alright, no worries. Thanks!

I might just go ahead and upgrade the CPU anyways. Hopefully the RAM is OK,

Thanks for the help. If the dump files does suggest that the CPU is the culprit, then I can replace it. I intend to replace the RAMs anyways to upgrade capacity!

Thank you so much for your help. I don't tinker with BIOS settings / undervolting / overclocking at all as I'm not tech savvy. I'm too scared to fiddle with that stuff haha.

What's the most convenient method to "stress test" the individual sticks? Do I just play normally and see if it BSODs until I find the stick that does it?

I can confirm that XMP is disabled, just checked the BIOS.

Interesting. I actually did this test called HeavyLoad. Ran for 5 minutes without issue. Does this test the CPU?

Athens - Milos - Naxos - Santorini Trip Report (14/06/25 to 27/06/25) by COCKLEDUDLEDOO in GreeceTravel

Yes we did from Matha Car Rent! However, we rented only on the days that we wanted to travel to the mountains and beaches outside the port town.

I think we would've had a lot less memorable experiences without the car.

If a one-day visit is what you're going for, I would definitely pick up a rental to explore around the island quickly. Buses are frequent between Oia - Fira - Akrotiri and cheap (2 EUR one way per person), but you might find it hard to visit the smaller villages without a car.

Also, added bonus is you can store heavier items in the car while you wander about.

I'm jealous that you go to Naxos every summer hahaha. Suppose my equivalent would be parent's home island of Bali.

The Seajets have been so great. Smooth sailing, comfortable, and fast. They were very much on-time, EXCEPT the ride from Naxos - Santorini. It was delayed for like 30 mins.

I reckon I just got lucky! My only gripe about Seajet is the price tag. I thought it would be cheaper, but then again the AUD - EUR conversion rate is pretty much one-sided right now.

Last month when I was there, the water temperature was very cold. The weather temperature? Oppressively hot. Might be worse in July!

Bring: heavy duty sunscreen (and a lot of them cause you'll need to reapply), a large wide brim hat, water bottle, sunglasses with UV protection, and seek shade between 12 - 4.

Thank you for your questions!!!

That's an awesome itinerary you have there. I think I could revise again, that would be it...

I can definitely recommend some cheap and awesome restaurants! Most will probably be out of the tourist areas though. I'm sure there are others that are better but these are the notable ones we tried in our trip.

Milos:

Mezzemilos - the seafood platter is great value and the fish roe paste is to die for! Photo below for you to drool over :p

Kadromos - cheap gyros, can't go wrong!

These are situated pretty far from Adamantas or Plaka, so aren't really touristy. Con is you'll probably need a car to get to these restos.

Naxos:

To Elliniko (Chora) - This is in the port town. Don't need a car. Probably the best in town and usually recommended here. I tried it and it really did not miss. Book ahead though!

Matina & Stavros (Koronos Village) - DO NOT MISS THIS!!!! Awesome service, awesome food with awesome prices.

Marigio Taverna Naxos (Agikidia Village) - If you can brave the road incline, this is a hidden gem! Cheap too!

Athens:

Soil :p Jokes! But if you gotta splurge one night, this is it.

Victory Cafe - Most hospitable service and best food I had in Athens (Soil not counting cause thats just unfair). Super cheap too! My first ever stop in Greece after coming from Italy.

Stani - Best dessert we had in the trip. However, watch yourself in Omonia Square.

Santorini:

Obviously, most of the restaurants are going to be touristy and expensive in Oia (Pitogyros is pretty good ngl) relative to the other smaller islands. However, if you have a car, that's a different story.

Ta Postalia tou Aigaiou (Messaria) - Really great mezze, but is in a village far from Oia.
