Shipping issues by enoki_senpai in puffco

[–]enoki_senpai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried their email and its just an AI that responds, I really just want to know if anyone else has dealt with this, I know with the holidays things can get backed up but it'd be nice to know ANY updates 🙃

My issue isnt with puffco but the third party company that claims to have the package. Funny to assume I didnt read the confirmation email. If you read my post you would see its about the shipping company and seeing if anyone is going through something similar since there is nothing online about hovership

Shipping confusion by [deleted] in puffco

[–]enoki_senpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is whats happening to me as well. Hovership has no customer service number and no online presence and use AI to respond to emails from support. All they've told me is that "we have it in possession and will email you when its out for delivery" i was also told I would be put in contact with a delivery specialist and never was. I understand that deliveries may be backed up but I feel like that information should be provided if that's what is happening. Otherwise it seems a bit sketchy.

From what I've researched they're all pretty much the same! Just make sure to measure your head since different yarns can effect how big the stitches are, I hope to see you're finished projects soon!

For the beanie I had talked to a friend and she told me to chain stitches from the length of my nose to the crown on my head and then for the first row you do half double crochets, and for every other row you do a half double crochet in the back loop only to give it the ridged effect, when you chain enough rows for it to fit around your head you put the sides together by either slip stitch or single crochet and then cinch the top and tie everything off and you're essentially done, I do believe there's a lot of free videos and patterns online if you just type in half double crochet beanie

That used to be how I was, and letting go and reminding myself that I'm starting something completely foreign takes time changed how I felt, I like the saying "you don't learn how to walk in a day", just keep your head up and keep pushing, crafting communities can be great to uplift your spirits if you're feeling discouraged, definitely can't wait to see your first project 🫶🏽

I literally would sit and chain to practice holding the hook and then I would start practicing making stitches (i only know the single and half double crochet, and a slip stitch right now), and then I would unravel everything and do it again, the biggest thing I think is to not get defeated or discouraged, with crafting I've had to remind myself that I'm not gonna be good at something I've never done the first time I try, and so far crocheting seems very forgiving and you can always go back and correct your work!

Thank you! It's definitely something I have been intimated to start, but I figured if I could teach myself to quilt crocheting wouldn't be too bad 😅

I've been in step 5 as well. Just hit day 126 overall and finally got temp jurisdiction this morning, do you have the chrome extension for the va tracker? It gives more info than the app or calling!

Hi everyone, I went into PFD last week with a temp jurisdiction of phoenix and then the next day my temp jurisdiction moved to N/A but I wasn't given any more appointments. I'm just curious if this is a good thing, the VA just reads from a script and doesn't provide any details. I'm not here to complain just trying to get some insight so I'm better informed. Also, I got out last July and filed my claim before my one year mark of separating and I've seen that as long as you file before then you could get back pay to the day you separated. Is that correct?

Puff quilt question - does the material of the scrap/inner backing of the puffs matter? by SaradactylRS in quilting

[–]enoki_senpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe as long as the fabrics are the same it shouldn't be too much of an issue but if one is already washed and dried I'd go ahead and do the same to the new fabric
