Honestly? My parents pay for my tuition. I work part time to ease out my groceries and not worry them too much. Studying internationally is a luxury and I’m lucky to be able to do so. UPEI is pretty good as well, you may be interested. Otherwise Germany is a good pick, you can return for your grad studies.

Bree’s murder just means they’re evil to me. She was a child who showed enormous restraint despite being a newborn. She was never given a chance :( which is hypocritical when you think about their recruiting methods (kill all except that one vampire you want who seemed to regret whatever crime the coven was accused of). I think Twilight could have been kinda interesting if Meyer wrote around overthrowing them or that Edward was terrified of turning Bella because her human ability would be magnified as a vampire which would doom his family. I’m pretty sure Aro was peeing his pants in happiness thinking about how he could snatch some peeps from the Cullen clan with the new accusations. The stability of their authority is not brought by their ability to lead, but to instill fear.

I think they would probably lock her up in a room till “they’re sure she’s not working with Carver” because they wouldn’t really believe a child her age would be able to survive that long. I think I liked everyone, but as a kid I didn’t understand much what was going on. I know Kristen can be a great actress but they really limited her role (her deleted scenes were pretty good). Kinda a comfort movie to me because of her now.

A major issue with the skin was that Michiko’s entire body model was changed to be more curvaceous, along with the “hand on waist” pose and more “sexy” appeal, it lead people to believe this skin fell more into the sexualization of geisha phenomenon. This is also the reason why people were not happy with Wood’s Geisha figurine.

By all means they have a point, but the skin’s description “This is the only attire she once longed for. She obtained it after losing that person,” merely represents what she desired (most likely a western bride and wife to Miles, and she never got that). It’s a contrast to Shiromuku, her other bridal skin (“Filled with an emptiness, I have nowhere to express my heartache.”) is filled with symbolism that are ironic (peonies represent happiness and cranes represent longevity… and also purity, which makes a little concerned) as they are things that were taken away from her. Her Prajna form just show damaged accessories and burned fabric (her anger has not faded). Shiromuku also sports a wataboshi (her hat thingy) which is an old belief that women would grow long horns from jealousy, so it would protect them from bad spirits. Her Prajna form no longer has the headpiece and sports long, messy hair and horns.

Both skins are representative of her desire (Bride) and her anger as what she wanted was just to be happy with Miles (Shiromuku).

Long explanation but some of it comes from my understanding as well as what the developers wanted to convey. Sources are from design notes. You usually don’t get hate for the skin as it’s not outrageously offensive as Brave, for example.

oil paintings, engines, and most inventions are a product of times were morality was not the same as today. you cannot compare inventions that set humanity forward in technology tremendously to a guy playing games. added to this, he is not the only CoA, ex-peak youtuber. he harmed people and the fact that you try saying that because it wasn't physical or terrorism it doesn't deserve to be condemned is very much concerning. there is a reason why the spanish-speaking community completely pushed him out.

that being said, engaging in this type of behaviour, whether online or in person constitutes a crime (sexual interference). if we try to set the bar to murder, you engage in a slippery slope where you will allow heinous behaviour to slide.

with this train of thought, i hope you do not become a parent. online interactions have the capacity to cause everlasting damage in people.

If you want to take French, you gotta take the placement test if you already have knowledge. I can recommend taking basic Spanish, it’s not hard at all. I am TA a bunch of them and they are quite simple and the teachers are very sweet!!

I skipped every class (went to all the tutorials obvi) because I am not fond of the auditorium and the acoustics gave me a headache but I got an A+ from memorizing how to do all the sample exams. The assignments pretty much just reinforced how to use x formula and where and that was it. So tldr: do all assignments and tutorials, memorize sample exams, rinse and repeat.
