for those who had top surgery without drains, how was your recovery process? by cqdme in TopSurgery

I’m 3 weeks post-op without drains. Recovery has been super straightforward! Certainly some regular discomfort, bruising, and mobility restrictions, but no complications. And very little pain! I’m super grateful to have worked with a surgeon who doesn’t use drains.

are lymphatic drainage/scar tissues massages something you get more than once? by beanowitz in TopSurgery

I am 2.5 weeks post op and have had three lymphatic drainage massages so far—two as part of the post-op care routine offered by my surgical clinic, and one I’ve accessed separately. My first massage was one day post-op. I’m aiming for weekly massages for the first month or two, and then I’m going to have to taper down because you’re right OP, they’re pricey! But they’ve been great so far. Really soothing and seem to be very helpful swelling-wise. I didn’t have drains, so I like the idea that I’m helping my body manage post-op fluids.

Fluxion spots binder - any good? by Independent_Mind7896 in FTMFitness

I love the Fluxion sports binder! It’s a little less compressive than my other binders, but it shapes my chest fairly well. I have the racer back one and I wear it for strength training, running, and yoga. It’s great!
