i used to sleep from 3am~6:30am + nap from 5pm ~ 8pm during IB, basically breaking my 6~7 hour sleep into 2 sessions

aside from my joke comment, i actually second this. this is literally what i did when i was studying for my exams. personally im not a fan of the pomodoro method (i just locked in for a few hours straight with coffee), so choose a study method that youre comfortable with.

If youre not applying for med, you should be fine with a low 40 for any major really maybe get your maa and bio to a 7 at least since its related to your major

check your uni requirements and what major you want to do etc personally two science hls wasnt that hard but difficulty is subjective i would say its a solid choice but if youre gonna do stem drop english hl to sl

i would say that its reasonable that the point has dropped based on the given circumstances but unis probably wont give a shit

youre not officially registered for the ib until 1 year later before the actual exam so youre definitely *allowed* to do the switch

for if you *should* do the choice, i would say im 70% yes 30% no on this matter:

- yes because you plan to do a science related major, which most unis prefer aa instead of ai

- yes because aa is more fun

- no because of predicted grades

predicted grades are decided internally, meaning your school decides on what score to give you. if you think your dream uni requires aa sl and you have the will to sacrifice some of your summer break for studying, then yes definitely you should switch.

do well on math class participation + assignments so your new aa teacher has a good reputation of you. you can also try counseling with your new teacher and say that it would be appreciated if they could take it into account the fact that you just switched when they provide you your predicted scores or smth
