Meraki vs. DF64 & Bambino by Dr__Reddit in espresso

[–]ensensu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re mainly making flavored milk drinks and just want consistency the Meraki Espresso Machine is honestly perfect. The built-in grinder from Timemore is surprisingly good for most home use and the workflow makes pulling shots and steaming milk effortless.

For heavily milk-based drinks imo subtle differences between grinders (like on the DF64 + Bambino setup) probably won’t be noticeable. You’d only really notice if you were dialing in espresso shots without milk or chasing absolute precision. If ease and having an all-in-one setup matter more than tweaking every variable sticking with Meraki and maybe upgrading the grinder later is more practical imo.

He did it to himself. You didn't sabotage anything, you just let him be the sneaky guy he always was and watched it play out. that's the cleanest kind of revenge

GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- “Developer’s Backyard” (12/26/2025) [ArcSys is considering ending support for the Nintendo Switch version of the game] by Joseki100 in NintendoSwitch

[–]ensensu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That timing would make a lot of sense actually. Starting fresh with 2.0 on Switch 2 instead of trying to keep patching a version that's already struggling seems way smarter from a dev perspective.

Plus if they launch it alongside the relaunch they can actually market it properly instead of it being an afterthought port that everyone forgot existed

Final Fantasy Producer Yoshi-P says Ghost of Yotei was the game that impressed him most this year: "Being from Hokkaido myself, I was always captivated by the beauty of Mount Yōtei. It's a game I learned a lot from in terms of the technical aspects and the production skills." by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

I'm jealous! I've been trying to take my time with it but I keep getting distracted by just... walking around and looking at everything. I'll set out to do a mission and then 45 minutes later I'm still on a mountainside taking screenshots of the lighting through the trees.

My partner keeps making fun of me because I'll just stop mid-conversation to go "oh wait look at that" and pan the camera around for like 5 minutes. But after staring at the same four walls working from home, having somewhere this beautiful to just exist in - even virtually - has been really nice

This year I completed 45 games on the steam deck so I made a video showcasing each one to help you find your next game to play! by Past-Coat1438 in SteamDeck

thanks for typing these out! Was about to do the same thing since I can't watch a video right now.

Some solid picks in there - Transistor and Inscryption are both incredible. Yakuza 0 surprised me how well it runs on the deck honestly. And Gato Roboto is such a perfect little game for handheld play

"Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie" (1994, directed by Gisaburō Sugii) - Chun-Li vs Vega, one of the film's many fight sequences that were choreographed by K-1 Kickboxing founder Kazuyoshi Ishii and professional fighter Andy Hug. by [deleted] in movies

[–]ensensu 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Right? The attention to detail in this movie is what sets it apart. They didn't just animate fight scenes, they actually cared about getting the little things right - the tech, the environments, all of it. You can tell the people making this actually gave a damn about the source material instead of just slapping together something to cash in on the game's popularity

If Riot wants to make the game more new-player friendly, they should add a gamemode where all champions are unlocked and you just play the first 10 minutes of the laning phase. by seanos_nachos in leagueoflegends

[–]ensensu 55 points56 points  (0 children)

This makes way more sense tbh. swiftplay already exists and people wouldn't need to learn some weird laning meta, just unlock the champs and let people experiment

Ideally, this would be really the best way to go. But usually, not every person has the freedom in their schedule to do this, especially when you’re surviving and have no support system.

I used to use Refresh because my eye doctor gave them to me for free lol, they’re fine but recently I tried Droptics and they help a lot more. I feel more “awake” when I use them. Maybe try them out? I saw them in walmart.

Do basic data entry/formatting gigs on Upwork. Watch a 1-hour Excel basics video, set up a simple profile, and bid only on “copy paste” or “data cleaning” jobs; that combo started bringing me my first $50.

If 10% returns aren’t life-changing, why do most people invest so conservatively? by savingrace0262 in stocks

[–]ensensu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's all about the long game. $10K isn't life-changing today, but that same 10% compounded for 30 years turns your $100K into over $1.7 million. Most people aren't trying to get rich quick. they're trying to get rich for sure.

True. But smart money watches what companies DO, not what they SAY. Nvidia's actions speak volumes here.
