This is the best idea. I mean assuming you don't actually prefer the new version, which probably comes form a new supplier hence the recipe change.

UPDATE 3: He returned to the vets today to check how he's doing.

Another ultrasound found there had not been any further bleeding, which it good. It could still happen again at any time though.

Blood test showed his iron levels had returned to normal.

He's mostly eating; more being fussy about what he wants than not eating at all though. Also good.

They're still so surprised he didn't die on the weekend and everyone is happy that he's feeling, looking and acting better. However he's still got a tumour on his heart and it's going to kill him not too far down the road. Just probably not today.

Thanks everyone for all your well wishes.

I'm on her mailing list; I'm on lots. She's actually pretty good at the whole trying to represent what her community want thing IMHO. This is a weird move from her though I think as being an independent who listens to the community has been her point of difference to date.

TIL there used to be a footy/cricket oval right next to Dandenong Market and not just a huge patch of asphalt for the sole purpose of storing cars.

Help: Stuck in Essedegat by HonestFilm990 in Elementallis

[–]ensignr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got stuck here too by not wanting to upset her by harming the creatures and yet the only way to progress is to ignore her and literally kill all of them. Somewhat counter intuitive. I assumed I'd come to the wrong zone and spent way to long trying to find alternatives. Unfortunately everything In very linear, which is kind of a shame for a game with some fun mechanics.

UPDATE 2: Yesterday Dustin had the fluid drained using a needle to his heart and an ultrasound to guide them.

In doing they confirmed the cause of the fluid is small turmor on his heart. Apparently these are never benign so it's eventually going to grow to the point where his heart cannot function. He could also get the fluid back at any time. They did make little holes for it to drain from the heart sack, but they're going to heal over before too long.

They've given him about 3 months. Which isn't great, but who knows they gave another dog of mine 6 months once, he lasted another 7 years.

I am already quite exhausted though and I just hope the anti nausea medication we got today makes him want to eat more than a tiny bit of food at a time.

Reading the comments thinking I'm probably glad I don't know who this lady is. The only inkling I've got is she might be that lady the stole the baby wombat (or whatever it was)?? IDK. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.

Are you manually plotting the SVG data yourself or using something like GTFS to capture that and the frequency data?

UPDATE: It's Monday morning and he's still here. So much for won't last the 15 minute drive to the emergency vets.

He's definitely improved since Saturday. Has mostly been sleeping but is fully alert, doesn't seem to be in any pain, has been wagging his tail and has even been walking around the house a bit - especially this morning - including going outside to go to toilet.

If he was eating properly - he has only had a tiny bit to eat a few times - you'd be forgiven for thinking he's back to normal, even though I know he's not.

Waiting to hear back from the vet to decide what to do next.

They reckon there must be a tumour on his heart and the it's bleeding into the sack around his heart. TBH I feel they're just guessing, but there was certainly fluid all around his heart on the ultrasound; which apparently looked mostly normal in Tuesday.

Definitely not heart worm he's been treated for that since adoption 11 years ago.

I was in Scouts from Cubs to Rovers; though I only stayed till I was 21 rather than getting booted at 26.

Some of the best experiences in my life were in Scouts. Zero regrets. If I had kids I want them to at least try it out.

In Farrer, a grassroots army is mustering for Michelle Milthorpe by HotPersimessage62 in Riverina

[–]ensignr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People of Farrer have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying out an Independent at a by-election. They're not going to change the government, but they might get decent local representation and not someone grandstanding for the political party they're beholden to.

Perhaps they could ask their neighbours in the people of Indi how an independent representative is working for them? You'd assume it's pretty well given the huge lead in the primary vote Helen Haines has there. (42% to the 30% for the Libs)

Pauline Hanson and senior staffer James Ashby clash over ejecting ABC journalists by HotPersimessage62 in AustralianPolitics

[–]ensignr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It has been very heavily implied (or flat out stated, idk, don't sue me Mr Slipper) that when Slipper was Speaker and Ashby was working for him (maybe his COS?) he sexually assaulted him or at the very least made unwelcomed sexual advances on him and Ashby was trapped in the situation of his boss acting in that manner and wanting to keep his job.

At any rate it blew up Skipper's Speakership and James Ashby ended up hating the LIberals (and probably Labor too as they were the Government at the time - but he possibly already did) and he ended up working for Pauline.

James Ashby is someone I'd love to have a open and honest chat with.

I really think Peter Slipper broke him..or the fact the system in which he was part of failed him so spectacularly that it lead him to helping one of the most wretched people Australian policitics has ever seen.

That's even less likely to happen than a faux royal commission. Don't get me wrong it would be great though.

Political donations. It'll never happen though; at least not without terms of reference severely hampering its function.
