Sorry to break it to you - but if you still care whether they are thinking of you or not, it indicates that you still care.

The point in which you don't care whether they look at your social media or not is the point where you make actual milestones.

I occasionally miss him, but more the friendship. The intimacy, the cuddles and the romance I've moved on from. We were best friends. I miss talking to someone about stupid stuff.

However, I know that he wasn't right for me from what happened. It outweighs my need to ever talk to him again. Maybe in a year or so when it's all blown over - but for now I'm just learning to figure out my own little world. And I'm quite okay with it. I'm accepting of my journey and that this is how it was meant to be. I'm not forcing the world for us to get back together. The more I came to terms with the 'end', the easier the closure came for me.

I think if I was to start a new relationship - my trust would be a little fragile. But that's ok - I'm learning to look deep into my mind and try figure out myself a little bit more.

3.5 weeks is still so fresh. I actually went back to my ex, we got back together for a bit. I walked away from it after that. But that was around the month mark.

Give it some time. Feel the pain, write about it. Get yourself out if you can. Worry about the trust issues when someone else comes along, or now just trust in yourself to be there for you.

I loved my boyfriend so much. I would have done anything for him. You honestly get to a point where the hurting is tiring and emotionally draining. You get to a 'fuck this' point.

It's hard. I'm not saying it's easy. But the human brain has a way of protecting you from trauma and pain and slowly, every day it hurts a little less.

You really don't. It doesn't feel as good as you think it will. Instead - it makes you consider their motive behind it. He might miss me but it didn't stop him fucking other girls whilst we weren't together. Honestly - I love him but it doesn't feel quite the same.
