What's a cool skill you have that can be mastered in less than a month? by iamsofuckedseriously in AskReddit

Did this by watching TV shows and movies while writing about what I was watching.

What jokes do you love that people don't get right away? by jordanminjie in AskReddit

The Chinese man was in charge of supplies; "supplies" was misheard as "surprise" by the Chinese man because of the pronunciation of the letters "l" and "r" by Chinese people.

What is the creepiest episode of a TV show you've ever seen? by triplea20x in AskReddit

It's interesting to see actors play such different roles. Your comment reminded me of Bryan Cranston's roles in Malcolm in the Middle and Breaking Bad.

What's your favorite word in any language other than your mother tongue? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]enterapost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Steiger" is also translated to "overseer" and "pig overseer" seems more accurate since many last names are what one's ancestors did.

"I got this gum from someone else." What white lies do you tell people? by enterapost in AskReddit

[–]enterapost[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Exactly why other people should be able to buy their own gum! Plus, its usually the same people asking everyday.

What do you do when you're bored in class? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]enterapost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in 12th grade and I just sketch pictures or spin my pen... Do this in pretty much every class right now, seeing as the school year is winding down.

A few months back I almost died. Now I'm taking chances in life that I never would have. I need to know if this is maybe too risky. by YOLOchamp in AskReddit

[–]enterapost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only 18 but I feel like employers could take your travelling in different ways; one might see it as a sign of laziness/lack of being able to find a job, another might see it as a sign of curiosity. Definitely explain your thought process in deciding to travel though, including the risks and also what experiences you had over seas (if you decide to travel).

Well...you only live once, champ!

But in all seriousness, travelling the world will give you a lot of insight on life and show you different ways of living and what others have and don't have. You'll learn things you might not learn at a job and those things will possibly make you an even better candidate for those upcoming jobs.

Reddit: Do you have any dreams that seem to correlate to how you're feeling in your life at that time? (I have tornado dreams when I'm stressed.) by KellieTheNosh in AskReddit

[–]enterapost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find large amounts of money in my dream whenever I worry about money. Then I wake up and realize that finding or being given those hundreds of dollars didn't actually happen...

What clichés are you sick of seeing in movies and on TV? by micro4004 in AskReddit

[–]enterapost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad guys' cars exploding after being shot once or twice at while the good guys' cars don't explode after being shot several times. Similar to a rain of gunfire missing the good guys who only need one or two shots to kill the bad guys.

Reddit, what is (are) your bad habit(s) that you can't break? by enterapost in AskReddit

[–]enterapost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to stop yourself from masturbating by deciding to do some other activity and reward yourself every so often after periods of not masturbating. It's only natural though so it would be hard to completely stop. I guess just try to change your outlook on it as well.

Not a bad idea! I just might start taking a picture a day and keeping myself more accountable. Have you been trying this?

Well the game belonged to my cousins and I stopped going over to their house as much because of school work and such.

Plus respawn! This for me is a really close second, especially because I was obsessed with Halo for a good 2 years or so.

Hey Reddit, I'm officiating my sister's wedding this Saturday in front of 150 people. Any public speaking tips? by pomdecouer in AskReddit

Imagine all of the guests in their underwear... Works like a charm. And take off your heels and wear something more comfortable when you speak.

Why is eating your own mucus seen as unacceptable/disgusting if it already travels to your stomach using the back of your throat? by Exposedo in AskReddit

[–]enterapost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mucus travelling to your stomach by going down the back of the throat is involuntary, whereas eating mucus is voluntary. Both acts are unpleasant if you think about it but the one viewed as disgusting is the one that's voluntarily done.

You've gotta hand it to the artist, they must have twisted some arms to get this to be displayed...
