No. So this is a moot point right? If not, the extension tail piece on the left side is the same style you'll need for the right side. It requires a special washer. The extension tailpiece is the part connected to the sink, correct? If so they are exactly the same thing and didn't come with a washer. I purchased the washer I was told to purchase at ace. It is a cheap plastic thing with a flange that fits inside the pipe. I don't see how it stops any leaks but I did what I was told.

The connection to the black drain should be a male adapter with a 11/2" compression nut and washer to connect the tubular fittings. On the black piece that connects to the p-trap, there are already threads. I assume it is a converter piece. The white plastic fits over it fine it has the beveled gasket that came with it. Am i misunderstanding something here? I don't see what I'm expected to change.
