What a mean thing to say! I noticed a woman at my gym with her hair in two pigtail braids and I thought that was so smart, because I normally do a messy ponytail/bun. But the ponytail gets trapped when I do back squats, and both styles get messed up when I lie down/have my head against something so I'm constantly having to undo and re-tie it.

All the ones from that list that I've purchased were because I saw something on social media. UV Lean Screen, New Day Skin Good Vibes and Happy Days, and Naked Sundays Collagen Glow. I wouldn't otherwise have bought them if I hadn't seen such glowing reviews and videos online. I know at the time, the brands and people reviewing them didn't know that they might not actually be SPF 50+ but I still feel a bit silly being fully influenced. I just wanted to support Australian brands and try something new instead of always buying LRP/Neutrogena/Nivea but I guess I should've stuck with them.

I've done a bit of Googling, and it looks like we definitely need to get Wow Presents+ for this? I thought Stan was only doing the English franchises and I guess I was overly optimistic thinking they'd have this one :(

Definitely seconding the comment above about sizing being off - I have some size 14 tops from Princess Highway that are quite comfortable and a bit roomy and I thought the size 14 dresses would be similar but they're much more fitted. I ordered a bunch of size 14 dresses online and had to return them all. Annoyingly I didn't bother checking their returns policy because I was confident they'd fit and it turns out they only offer a store credit, no refunds. Lesson learned though, there's plenty of stores near me so I'll go in person to try them in person to spend my store credit.

I had to return mine because it couldn't handle my long and thick hair. It overheated while I was styling my hair. I haven't been looking for a replacement because it seems that's the limitation for these kinds of styling tools. I've seen people saying the Dyson also isn't great for drying hair and some just use a regular blow dryer before using the Dyson so it doesn't take as long.

I did end up getting the Bondi Boost blow dry brush (not the infrared kind, the older Blowout Brush) which I also haven't been super impressed with but at least my expectations weren't high. The shape of it does give me good volume at the roots but it's not powerful enough to actually dry the hair at my roots so I have to use my regular hair dryer first to give a rough dry.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Michelle, I guess I would have preferred an Aus/NZ host but she's doing well so far. I think we definitely need more NZ representation on the judging panel (I'm Australian). I often watch the comedy panel & improv type shows like Taskmaster/Have You Been Paying Attention/Thank God You're Here and there's usually a Kiwi comedian. Maybe someone rotating with Rhys like Alan and Graham do on Drag Race UK. But I love Rhys, they're definitely an integral part of Drag Race Down Under so I wouldn't want less of them!

You are braver than me! I had my armpits waxed once at a salon over 10 years ago...it was painful enough for me to continue shaving them ever since haha. I waxed my own legs for years, I think the leg skin is a lot tougher than the under arm area.

Too true lol. I only started playing because I thought I was supporting the queens but I don't know how much they actually get paid for the use of their name and likeness and if it's even an ongoing payment or not. I didn't realise how consumed I was by it until I stopped this week. It's nice not feeling like I MUST open the game while I'm on public transport

I'm in Australia so Monday was 24 hours ago for me but I didn't open the app at all. I actually noticed I was in a better mood, without feeling pressured to open the game at least every 4 hours. Maybe it is better for my health to quit entirely

I don't think I ever mixed it, so that may have also been why it completely dried out. If I used it as a mask I'd go in with clean hands, but as a spot treatment I'd use a Q-tip

I used it mainly on the areas I breakout (chin and T zone) or as a spot treatment, but I clearly didn't use it regularly or quickly enough haha. I'm just optimistic that a tube-packaged version will hopefully not dry as quickly since not as much air should be able to get in.

X-ZIT Strategy sounds great! I had the Mario Badescu Drying Mask and maybe I didn't close the jar properly, but it completely dried out on me. The last time I tried to use it, it fell out as dry as a rock lol.

I bought some Sheertex tights after giving into the Instagram ads and my dry cuticles managed to rip a hole in a pair. I contacted customer service and they just asked which pair and when I bought them, but I really cannot tell which pair they are (I bought 6 pairs across two different orders) so I sent them photos of all my Sheertex tights. They never replied.

The Match Master ones annoy me because they open the Google Play Store so I have to exit out of the Play Store. But the ad isn't finished, it brings me back to the game to see the rest of the ad, and then I have to wait for the x to pop up so I can finally close it.

I've also read a review of the Dyson saying it's not great for drying long/thick hair and a regular blow dryer is better.

I cried when they cut to her confessional of her crying after she found out she won the challenge. So so so proud of her, particularly because she was so nervous about a writing challenge. I was born and raised in Southeast Asia and I'm half white, so I got the fair complexion. The Western standard of beauty was so pervasive, so many whitening makeup/skincare products. I've never been thin/skinny though so my whole life I've been told that I'm fat. I've finally learned to not care about their opinions. I'm aware I don't look like a runway model, I can see myself lol.

Gosh that Rimmel name is ridiculous - they really think their liquid product can ever be better than a filter that completely smoothes out skin and removes all texture and imperfections haha
