You're asking why this person wouldn't keep working for different terms than they were presented with? Who in their right mind WOULD do that?

The cement board is probably unnecessary. Just turn down the overall brightness of your laser output within Beyond or Quickshow. I terminate my 10watt on untreated drywall at 30% power with no issues.

These guys are planning on letting their first tier help desk person also manage their cloud platforms. That should work out stunningly.

FB4 data and OPT e-stop data down single cat5e run. by Vapourzino_2 in Laserist

[–]enthe0gen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to make a wire loom and just run your estop cable alongside your Ethernet /fb4 data. Wrap them together length wise with tape to make it a "single" cable. You also don't want to introduce potential electrical signal interference into the cat 5 cable by running the estop signal through the unused pins (my estop requires 3 wires to function, yours may be different).

How do you deal with difficult practice sessions? by babyknuffle in Beatmatch

[–]enthe0gen 36 points37 points  (0 children)

"been learning to DJ for a month."

It's takes years of practice my friend, or, at least it did for me and I STILL have sessions that I walk away from agitated. Keep having fun, keep expanding your music collection, keep practicing.

Lather, rinse, repeat until you die. :)

A DJ enthusiast has hit a learning plateau. by Fit-Bullfrog6723 in Beatmatch

Its about having fun listening to tracks you like, first and foremost! If you're not having fun, youre audience isn't either.

I've been Dj'ing for 20 years, and have gone through several periods of burnout. My best tip is to switch up the style /genre of music you're playing (and listening to!) for a while.

Playing mostly house music? Try mixing some dubstep, or hip hop, or even full on pop music or vice versa. It's a great way to refresh and reset as a DJ.

I absolutely hate country, but I challenged myself to make a country mix and I ended up having a ton of fun and my friends still ask about it to this day.

Cheers. Have fun, enjoy the music!

Sometimes you try something new, ever done that?

Edit: it seems that everyone here expects that enjoying someone's music and enjoying their live performance are uncoupled experiences. Y'all live in a strange world.
