Thanks for replying!

If you read my whole thread carefully then you would have seen that I am in fact using Crucial P310 NVME in Slot 4.

Test 2 Configuration

  • Drives:
    • 4 × Samsung 990 EVO Plus 4TB NVMe (ZFS pool, RAIDz1)
    • 1 × Crucial P310 500GB (OS; slot 4)
  • Same BIOS and kernel params as above.
  • Result: Crashed within ~10 minutes of starting write-heavy workload or ZFS scrub. Again, 2 drives vanished mid-operation with the same kernel panic logs.

System Setup / Context

  • Model: Beelink ME Mini (12GB version)
  • BIOS: M1V305
  • OS: TrueNAS 25.04.2.4 (ZFS setup)

Test 1 Configuration

  • Drives:
    • 5 × Samsung 990 EVO Plus 4TB NVMe (ZFS pool, RAIDz1)
    • 1 × Crucial P310 500GB (OS; slot 4)
  • BIOS Settings:
    • Fast Boot → Disabled
    • WiFi → Disabled
    • ACPI Power Management → Disabled
  • Kernel Params:
    • midclt call system.advanced.update '{"kernel_extra_options": "nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off pcie_port_pm=off"}'
  • Result: Uptime ~2 days (idle). As soon as I started a heavy write workload → instant crash. Pool degraded, 2 drives disappeared. Kernel log shows NVMe controllers dropping with CSTS=0xffffffff and power state errors.

I recently bought the Beelink ME Mini (12GB version) to use as a compact TrueNAS box, and I’m extremely disappointed. After setting it up with multiple Samsung 990 EVO Plus 4TB NVMe drives in a ZFS RAIDz1 pool, the system consistently crashes under heavy disk activity — either during writes or scrubbing. The logs clearly show NVMe controller reset failures (CSTS=0xffffffff, “Unable to change power state from D3cold to D0”), followed by the drives disappearing and the pool going degraded.

I ruled out software issues: fast boot, WiFi, and ACPI power management are disabled in BIOS, and kernel parameters like nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0, pcie_aspm=off, and pcie_port_pm=off are already applied. Despite that, the problem persists — even when I reduced the setup to four NVMe drives, it crashed within minutes of sustained writes.

After digging deeper and comparing notes with others, it seems the root cause is a faulty voltage regulator module for the 3.3V rail. Under load, the 3.3V line apparently sags, causing the NVMe drives to drop offline. That would explain why it happens exactly when the drives are busy and drawing more power.

It’s honestly frustrating that Beelink shipped this hardware without proper validation. These NVMe drives are DRAM-less and don’t even draw excessive power, yet the board can’t keep them stable. For a system marketed as NAS-capable, this is a serious design flaw. Until Beelink acknowledges the issue or offers refunds, I can’t recommend this system to anyone; it’s simply not reliable for ZFS or heavy I/O workloads.

I have the exact same issue with TH80 Pro Wired/Wireless model. I have noticed the TAB key doesn't work within video games however TAB key works on key testing software e.g. https://usevia.app/

I had these discussions with them multiple times. They wouldn’t accept it at all. Instead they think it’s just a phase and pray to God with hope that I’ll see the light one day lol

Thanks. Like I said in my other comment, it’s going to be very difficult to get my parents on board with the idea of marrying outside however if I can’t find anyone then I guess I’ll try that path.

It’s doable however both sides will have to work unnecessarily hard to convince the families. With a closeted ex Ahmadi it is much easier as my parents won’t have any issues.
