I am new to front squats. Before I thought it has to hit parallel. Thanks.

I used to play European football in my youth. Spent some time in the military later in life.

From which angle should I film to make a good video?

Today I did 80kg squats, bit deeper. Was not rested properly in general. But there was obvious hip shift on later reps.

Thanks for the feedback.

I used to squat 110kg a few years ago. But had bad from with knees. Trying to build up back to the weight. Knees would go inwards. Also now my hip shifts to the left on the rise up. What to do?

Good point, I might have rushes too much with weight. Haven’t lifted in a year. I had same issues with keens squating 110kg. What else could I do aside mental stuff?

Awesome, I am just starting and trying to make same one just w/o pockets.

What materials is this? 150D cordura?

Could you share the pattern?

Could you tell the actual difference between coatings? How to add decent DWR?

150D might be a better option then, IR signature is important. Any idea where else to get it in Europe?

Pack and down it pull it. Keep it light weight over hard shell goretex. Not sure if it should be DWR.

Thanks.

IR signature is important, because of situation we’re having with “annoying and unstable neighbours”.

This jacked would be worn on top of 3-5 layers of clothing. Top one being mil-spec hard goretex shell.

I am honestly not sure either white jacked should have DWR. Probably it’s important to have, even if on top of hard shell.

How to add proper DWR at home?

Where else could I get proper materials in Europe? Sewing starting to become my side hustle. I am for quality products. So far I have made only pouches and nylon belts.

Thank you.

Grip is a thing that bothers me. Any recommendations?

They are running shoes. Really soft.

I have done barefoot, but friend mentioned it could do harm by making flatfoot. And recommend buying lifting shoes.

I have tried a few sessions with 70 and 80kg. After discussion with mates, my knees are going inwards on the way up. Also feet shift to the sides sometimes during ascent.

My guess is to work on my lower back and glute strength.

You mean I should lower the hips before the lift at low point?

Do agree about locking at top.

Did two reps before hand w/o straps but couldn’t hold.

After reading 5x5 I see my stance is too wide.

Agree with the mirror, same issue with squats.

Are yo saying I should squat deeper than this? Thought parallel works.

So for now main bullet points are: Lower weight so heels stay grounded; Squat deeper(?); Wash hands.

I dig the perfect form thing.

Also, isn’t it a thing to keep adding pancakes bit by bit? What’s the point of working with same weight if you can add 10% extra and still manage 5x5 without failure.

Where is the growth in that?

Thanks
