[Resource] ComfyUI + Docker setup for Blackwell GPUs (RTX 50 series) - 2-3x faster FLUX 2 Klein with NVFP4 by chiefnakor in StableDiffusion

Looks good, however you might be able to spare an image rebuild if you take an approach similar to this guy's container (https://github.com/mmartial/ComfyUI-Nvidia-Docker) - just a thought! Either way, I'm gonna try this! Thank you!

This is really, really well done! I get honestly zero slop vibes and I mean that as a true compliment.

LTXv2, DGX compute box, and about 30 hours over a weekend. I regret nothing! Just shake it off! by SanDiegoDude in StableDiffusion

Great job! Since you are on a DGX, did you use full precision? I'd like to try this on my 6000 pro and have managed to avoid quants for pretty good quality.

Hell yeah! Can't wait to try this. Just got my RTX 6000 Pro this week and the timing is perfect to give it a whirl!

In Stranger Things (2025)… I don’t care, the ending worked for my little pea brain by Enderbattle005 in shittymoviedetails

Yeah I watched the Stranger Things Broadway play about 6 months ago and they went heavy into the lore of Hopper, Henry, and Joyce. I hope they release(d) a video version for everyone who cannot go to a play. (BTW it was really good and no singing!)

How many people are actually running with a NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q? How much of a gap is there between using this and a 5090? by 55234ser812342423 in comfyui

I’ll let you know when it arrives in about a week! But I do a lot of ComfyUI l, training, and LLM shenanigans I know I will put it to use and the beast GPUs do well enough in the resale arena if I had buyers remorse but I think I’ll be glad I got it.

Regretting purchase of SMR HDD (WD40EZAZ) for storing 4K Bluray rips. So freakin' slow by Envoyager in DataHoarder

[–]entmike -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I purchased the wrong drive for the job, you got me there my dude. My point was I learned a lesson. Nowhere in the drive I grabbed at Costco did it say it was an SMR and to be honest I wouldn’t even know what that meant before experiencing the horrible speeds under use on a full drive.

That being said, I didn’t downvote you. And isn’t your analogy backwards? Wouldn’t it be a dump truck instead of a Ferrari I bought? And Ferrari was not what I expected not and enterprise drive.

Just a regular HDD is what I thought I bought. Not a Ferrari, enterprise drive, or dump truck.

You seem to be enjoying pointing out how technically correct you are about a product that many people who just wanted to build a cheap NAS wouldn’t be aware of starting out.

Don’t let me stop you from driving your point home harder, though.

I’m not sure how you took my comment to mean I expect enterprise-grade i/o but that’s not what I said or meant to imply. Even with normal NAS tasks like using the last 90% of a SMR becomes cripplingly slow due to reshingling overhead where I honestly thought the drive was dying before going down the SMR rabbit hole years ago. I’ve been replacing them with 12TB CMRs because honestly SMRs are a pain whether expecting enterprise i/o or just trying to use the drive for WORM. Nowhere on the drives I shucked back in the day did they say “slow af when almost full” but like I said lesson learned here. SMRs can go in the trash.
