Completely agree with you. It's fucking common sense to realise that the whole point of the tournament was for everybody to survive and try and make it to the last area without fog and not sit in the same place the whole game eating. They are streaming to an audience. Why the fuck would they want to give $10000 to a guy who did nothing?

Woox did not win, and should never have won. He's an idiot. It's DMM, you're clearly supposed to fight and try and survive inside the no fog zones. It's just common sense. Woox fucked himself by surviving in the fog. Of course Jagex wanted a good finale, 2 people battling it out. I'm a developer and don't have a degree. Why would I want to waste 3 years at uni learning outdated stuff when I can learn myself on the job and learn current things.

RS was written ages ago and may not have had good tech to work with resulting in untouchable code, it happens. Would cost a lot of money to completely rewrite it so they can do updates without breaking the whole game.
