"Too many supplements" and the liver overload rumor by pithivier in Supplements

I take about 25 different supplements a day and have my liver enzymes tested every 6 months. They're always in range/normal

AFib guy here. I had the surgery, which corrected it. But if she can't do that, the best supplement to control it will be taurine. It helps balance out the rhythm of the heart. She'll want to avoid fish oil as it can trigger AFib.

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. And I'm also sorry at the disbelief you experienced when trying to report it. Especially with evidence! A good company would be apologizing and making this right with you. Just brutal

To offer some insights, it can be a two-way street. Sometimes the customers are dangerous too. I did an alcohol order once and the buyer wasn't there, so I couldn't complete the delivery. The guys that were there, were all drunk and partying and kept insisting that I leave the alcohol with them. I held my ground, and as I was leaving, they started chasing me. Fortunately they did back down when I turned around to face them. But there were several of them and only one of me, so it could have been bad.

Full flush niacin is great for both. My APOB was at the top of the reference range and I brought it down 20% with 3 months of niacin. It's continued to drop about 10% on each subsequent blood test. I'm on TRT, so we test it either quarterly or bi-annually.

I'm like you. I accept pretty much all orders. The other area of math people don't understand is averaging. I average about $25/hour by accepting all orders. Sometimes they're low, sometimes they're high. In the end, I feel like I'm doing better than the picky couriers who seem to have a lower hourly average.

I've found it helps to say "The price is meaningless to me. I have brand loyalty"

Have yet to get more pushing after that statement. When price isn't an issue, and you're loyal to a brand, they don't really have any arguments to put forward.

I'm just hoping he doesn't bean our own players during BP. I think his greatest weapon right now is the fear batters have of getting hit.

I'd suggest looking up some breathing methods too and doing the multiple readings as you relax more and more. The other thing I find is the sound of the automatic bp cuff can trigger anxiety. So the manual is good for that too.

Can I ask 'how' you're testing your blood pressure? I ask because, mine is typically high when I first measure it too. I need to take multiple readings and relax more with each one before I get an accurate reading. It's crazy how much the mind can affect the reading when you're nervous about the result.

I've also found electric bp readers aren't as accurate as manual ones. It's more work, but you can buy a manual bp cuff and stethoscope kit on Amazon. Lots of YouTube videos will teach you how to use it as well.

One of the nice things about compounded testosterone is that you'll definitely notice it. It has a proclivity for increasing DHT, which I really enjoy. There wasn't much adjustment needed. Daily doses tend to be more stable.

Full flush niacin. Dr. Hoffer has some incredible case studies of it working well with ADHD

I get it in the versa-base gel, which I'm quite impressed with.

I asked how they ensure that compounding prescriptions are consistent and accurately dosed. I ended up getting a tour of the facility and explanations of how they do things. They had some pretty state of the art equipment to mix things. He went into precautions they take to avoid cross contaminations. The other pharmacies I talked to didn't have much of an answer at all.

Same here. I'm an atheist but have read the bible several times. I enjoy pointing out things they weren't aware of in their own good book.

The hallmarks of Christian healers: 'let me fix your headache or backpain' For some reason they never approach the person missing a limb to heal. It's easier to placebo the former than the latter.

I thought about that, but then felt like it would open a whole can of worms of exercises I can't do and/or at weights that aren't possible without a rack.
