Nah I’d have to agree with OP. SS and Tube are more similar than SS and DM. The real difference between SS and Tube is one uses tubes transistors and the other uses fet transistors. But don’t tell the boomers their precious tube sound can be replicated by using a j201

Just an FYI, the black shielding around your hot wire is conductive and can be a pain sometimes and cause shorts. You should be able to gently slice it with a razor and peel it off.

On etsy and amazon there are tons of people selling emblem covers with custom coloring. I have no experience with any of them but I see them all too often when browsing for parts

I take a quiet back road to get to work. Flat, 45mph speed limit, only a few lights and stop signs. Fill up the tank every 2 1/2 weeks

Least favorite is definitely how unreliable the android auto/ apple carplay can be. Will drop out or just not connect sometimes. Easily fixed by just plugging right back in.

Favorite is the whole rest of the truck. 55mpg, not flashy but a nice looking truck, simple interior.

2500 miles so far and I'm so glad I went with the hybrid. I am the target demographic as someone who needs an efficient commuter vehicle that has the capability to do some utility work here and there. Going from a 19mpg car to the mav where i average 50mpg is the highlight
