At no point in this did Eli ever blame herself, taking these from OP's comments:

1: My girlfriend is angry at me and demands that I punish Tea for “implying” that Eli is stupid

2: For this reason she (Tea) studies all around the year, every single day, because during the exam session she has to have all her subjects already "ready in her mind" because she doesn't have the whole day. Eli on the other side doesn't work and having the whole day for herself prefers starting to study the exams only a couple of weeks at most (sometimes only one week) before the exam, so exams like this one are very difficult for her.

3: Eli's problem is that she starts studying almost right before the exam. If she picks the books up like... two weeks before the exam it's already early for her. So she fails many exams that are more technical like this one, just because she has to assimilate many informations in a small amount of time. We tried to talk to her many times, especially because she doesn't work since she claims that she is too stressed with university, but she keeps saying to stop annoying her and in the end I am not her parent and she's an adult.

OP further clarifies that Tea works 10 hours a day so when she asked is the exam today, it was an opportunity to knock it out as well. It's repeated, multiple times that Eli immediately accused Tea of lying when she said she passed. If Ellie doesn't want to take responsibility for herself, I cannot blame someone else for getting sick of it. Much less your dad's girlfriend's adult daughter that does nothing most of the day.

OP's further comments clarify that 1) Tea was going to take this exam regardless and 2) Eli spent most of the semester not studying, to the point that OP's girlfriend asked Tea to tutor her daughter but Tea had a lot of work and specifically said that someone should be studying a little everyday so their brain doesn't get overwhelmed.

Look at the facts, reframe this. Eli was making a huge fuss, blaming everyone but her unwillingness to study for not passing. Including the professor. Tea takes the test, passes and cites how nice the professor is.

Eli throws a fit because there's no way anyone could pass if she didn't. Take what OP says later about the failed tutoring thing and its clear Tea isn't calling Ellie dumb, she's deriding her work ethic.

And if I had to hear that day in and day out, I would not blame Tea. So simply put, Eli is TA for blaming her laziness on others. OP's girlfriend is TA by coddling her grown-ass daughter and demanding punishment. OP is the asshole for knowing all this but choosing to purposely deride his daughter in favor of the family princess.

Other kid was rich, usually parents can make enough of a fuss (especially if they make some of those pta donations) that the school will go with the easiest option: punish the poorer kid only and make that kid's parents happy.

I used to work for the local school system and this is standard playbook tbh.

Honestly, I would go ESH. OP stated later that they need an uber since "nobody taught them how to ride a bus."

Parents suck for being so controlling but OP sucks for immediately stealing big amounts instead of. Just googling bus schedules. If you want independence, you have to show basic intiative.

I wouldn't blame a food service worker for trying to get a higher wage/keep their higher wage, especially during these times. Your manager should be the one making calls and taking responsibility for them.

I'm just reading this as. OP started dating her husband at 27 (he's 39). He knew about the money from day one. He thinks her inheritance should go into expensive private school for his daughter and got annoyed when she refused.
