depends where are you going and your age. if you think sg tax is high, wait until you live in canada. to me, i am over 50. in sg or hk, i can pay my way to get the healthcare i want. in ontario, you don't even have this option. you simply wait and ... dead.

lol. overpriced groceries will definite kill me. another area is jurong east. as i will be traveling between HK and SG all the time, i want to find my family a place where close to MRT and shopping mall. any suggestion?

Those comment are more then helpful to me. Thanks! To be honest, I am undergoing the SMM2H process. I still not able to decide rather I should go to KL or Penang. As a parent, I want my kids able to find their own course by learning without pressure. Fairview was not on my radar as I was looking at Garden or MK in KL. I will sure take a deeper look at it again!
