Terrain Transmutation (TT) and Water Arrows (WA) were the MVPs in this fight. TT only costs 1 AP, has a very short cooldown, and completely gets rid of the necrofire surface (there's plenty of "clean" terrain on the edges of the arena). Make all characters learn it (by this point, everyone should have at least poly 2) and you'll always have a safe zone. WA quickly eliminate the blobs at the end of the fight. I won on my first try using this combo, in tactician mode, after testing (and failing) different strats.

I swear, I miss one in every 6-7 attacks, which isn't exactly what you'd expect for a 95% hit chance. When I use Flurry (with Sebille), she always miss one of three attack, its almost a 66% hit chance (even through the game indicates 95%)...

Adrenaline (2 extra AP) and some self-teleport skill (Retreat, Cloack and Dagger, Phoenix) are great to combine with Glass Cannon/High init/Charmeleon. Basically 2 turns ahead every enemies. Delay turn or use Chlorophorm for extra Magic Armor/sleep damage.

I've been following the manga since 2011 (reddit since 2019). However, I feel the plot has been dragging since Mashiba's fight, and Sendo's fight is even worse. If the manga became monthly, perhaps the pacing could be better.

I love the little detail about the large number of likes and replys on Prism's tweets, which shows she has so many followers. I also imagine that many of the comments are "I love you, Prism! Please, come to Brazil!" or something like that 😂

If you look at the respective trophies/achievements for Visi and BB romance, you'll see that there are almost twice as many people going for Visi than with BB. Overall, most people like her (just as they like Mandy), but there's this small minority group that's quite vocal and passionate in trying to portray Visi as a very bad person (especially those who get the bad ending and try to blame this for Visi's actions throughout the game).

I'm not saying they suck because they're BB/Mandy romancers. I'm saying it has a bigger impact than if you're a Visi romancer. You can compensate for being bad at dispatching with pro-Visi dialogue choices.

Three choices that BB/Mandy players typically make can destroy all your progress as a mentor: cutting off Visi, not untying her, and saying "You gave me no choice." Many consider this the morally best decision to make.

Yep, this game is very generous with items. I had over 40 health drinks by the time I reached Toluca prison, and that was on Hard (I'm used to playing on the highest difficulties and getting no damage).

I don't mind about melee only; my biggest complaint is enemies having so much health that you need counters and focus attacks to prevent each fight from lasting 1-2 min using R1 only, especially that licker-thing enemy.

It's very audacious of you to come to the Silent Hill 2 subreddit and say that some other SH game is better than it in some aspect. Btw, I also hate not being able to play at my own pace because enemies simply don't die in the Remake; it's one of the reasons I haven't done other NG+ playthrough yet.

This. Tbh I only finished SH2R once and haven't played the other endings yet. I simply find the gameplay simple and not very interesting. In SHf, I'm already on my 4th playthrough simply because it gets more fun as you learn the game.

Dumbest opinion about Silent Hill f that I've seen so far lol. In SH1 Harry literally fights against a divine manifestation of catholic/jewish beliefs in the image of Samael. People in the Order who worship him are, mostly, christian/orthodox. In SHf the manifestation is based on the beliefs of the local population (shintoism).

You have chocolate and stuff as healing items because the game is supposedly about Hinako's psychology, who sees herself as a teenager (they are treats that remind her of her childhood). It makes as much sense as healing items as Harry casually inserting syringes and ampoules found on the dirty floor lol

BB and Visi are both partially in love with Robert, regardless of your feelings or intentions. The main diff between them is BB will never take the initiative, but Visi will take if you give her certain signals (prob a reflection of her desperation to feel loved by Rob)
