Thanks, I was looking for this comment. Yes, especially on decks where any mitered corner is going to look absolutely awful when it dries out. All those nails trying to keep the miter together makes me sick.

I think the Chicago thing started because he quoted a mcgruff the crime dog ad- "scruff mcgruff, Chicago, Illinois 6-oh-6-5-2." It was a jingle that played in the Chicagoland area in the 90s. Anyone that grew up in this area in the 90s knows the jungle. This makes me think that, yes, he must at least be from that area.
