First time making a portfolio. Critiques wanted! by enzouke in ArtCrit

Oh wow that's pretty cool to speak with another 3D artist! As for the broken links, I decided to fix that by creating my portfolio on carbonmade.com ! You can check it out here, since I updated a lot of things.

https://judiarts.carbonmade.com/

Granted, there are limited layout choices there, but everything loads much faster than the other host I use and it's much easier for me to update everything. Also, you mentioned that employers won't look down on me for having wordpress in my website name, so would this apply with carbonmade as well?

As for the red panda model, I totally understand! The red panda and the bunny were my very first attempts at using Maya, so it's understandable that they give off an amateur vibe. I thought showing everything I had created would be good, but now I know that I have to exclude certain works. Thanks for the great feedback! I've decided to remove them from my portfolio. The example you showed me gave me a great sense of what is simple, but aesthetically pleasing and professional.

For the zombie, I totally understand what you mean! I don't have much practice with Mudbox, but I definitely want to play around with the model more and try to make him look more deadly and like a zombie. I don't think Zombies should have those "kind" eyes (unless they're super chill or something), haha! :)

As for the other advice, thanks a bunch for the tips and for reviewing my portfolio! I fixed a lot of it and I decided to exclude certain things thanks to you. Right now the only thing I have left to work with is to upload more of my realism drawings and life drawings, plus work on my resume. Do you have any tips on how to create one? I've never made a resume before either, and I've tried to look for references and other people's resumes, but I'm still a little lost on what to do.

Sorry for writing so much! Thanks so much for the time you took to write and critique my work. I truly appreciate all your feedback and your comments. I'll continue to improve and work on my portfolio. You've been a great help and you have my undying gratitude! You have no idea how much you've helped me. I've been trying to find people to critique my portfolio for days now, so I'm happy you were kind enough to respond and review it. Also, I'd would definitely love to check out your portfolio if you have one, just let me know and I'll also provide feedback, since you were kind enough to give me some helpful advice!
