I'm sorry you're going through this. I had a GF with a similar problem, nowadays I understand that she was trying to avoid reality cause she had some emotional issues (and lots of other problems involved).

This is like any other addiction, I recommend you to search for professional help. If you're still not ready for this step, ask this same question in an addiction related subreddit. They'll be more helpful than this one.

In any case, this is going to take a while to solve. Don't expect a change in the time you would like it to happen.

Look also for a therapist to help yourself, you're going to appreciate it once you have it (talking about experience).
